Good afternoon and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the Spanish league clash between Levante and Atletico Madrid. We'll bring you all the action and goals as they go in. Kick-off: 16:00.

Rather strangely, Atletico are playing a lot of hopeful long balls forward. They need to be a little bit more patient. Levante have thrown them off their stride in these opening 30 minutes or so.

At times Levante have been guilty of being a bit too intricate. You saw what happened when they put a cross into the box earlier in the game. They should try that more often, but they have a tendency to overplay it.

Atletico aere struggling to make the ball stick in the centre of midfield. Gabi and Koke need to impose themselves on the game, which is proving difficult in the face of Levante's intense passing game.

Levante are playing some really nice stuff here. They've found their passing stride and are making Atletico really hard to win the ball back. Simeone looks slightly concerned on the touchline.

Gabi plays a wicked corner kick delivery to the near post, with Navas misjudging his leap. The Levante keeper misses the ball, but it bounces off one of his defenders and behind for another corner.

Really bad decision by the linesman! Costa is played clean through on goal by Garcia, but the flag goes up for offside. Looking at replays Vyntra was keeping the Atletico striker onside by about a yard or two.

The camera pans to Jose Sosa in the crowd. Is he smoking a pipe?!!

The frustration is just starting to creep into the Atletico players and the fans in the crowd. Simeone is kicking and heading every ball, but then there's no change there. He's always like that.

The noise inside the Ciutat de Valencia is incredible! Officially there are only 2,500 travelling fans inside the ground but the Atletico supporters have snapped up home tickets and are dominating the chanting and singing.

Koke whips a freekick into the penalty area from a deep position, but Villa can't quite make a connection and Navas comes off his line to gather.

Levante are quite handy at the defensive side of the game as well. They've kept 10 clean sheets at home this season, so Simeone's side are really up against it now to get back into this game.

You can see why Keylor Navas is thought of as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe. Incredible save from Garcia.

Huge chance for Atletico! Garcia takes a long ball on his chest before spinning and shooting at goal! Navas pulls off a great save and then on the rebound Villa blasts well over the crossbar. What an opportunity!

There are 10,000 Atletico Madrid fans here at the Ciutat de Valencia. By La Liga standards, that's a huge away following. Their supporters can sense this could be a historic season, but it's not going to plan so far.

You already get the feeling that in the last few minutes since the goal, Atletico have upped the tempo of their play. There's still a long way to go, but that goal might just focus them.

That's the first goal Atletico Madrid have conceded in five league games. It was a self inflicted wound as well! Really poor defending and Simeone looks dismayed on the touchline.

First sight of goal for Atletico Madrid and it falls to Costa, but the Brazilian born striker can't get his shot away after wriggling away from the defender. Demonstrates just how dangerous Costa can be, though.
