AMBITIOUS EFFORT!
De Paul picks out the run of Di Maria and, from just inside the Italy half, he tries to lob Donnarumma but doesn't get quite enough power in his effort and it bounces in front of the Italy goalkeeper.

ADVANTAGE ARGENTINA
You have to go all the way back to July 2019 for Argentina's last defeat - when they lost 2-0 to Brazil - 31 matches ago.
With Italy missing many of their regulars such as Federico Chiesa, Ciro Immobile and Marco Verratti, La Albiceleste surely have the edge.

A CHANGE TO THE ITALY LINE-UP
Giovanni Lo Celso starts, with Dybala now being moved to the bench!

THE RETURN OF 'THE CUP OF CHAMPIONS'
The Cup of Champions, which pits the European Championship holders against the Copa America winners, has only been played twice before - and not since 1993.
Argentina were involved back then too, defeating Denmark - and you can catch the highlights below!

CHIELLINI PREPARES TO SAY FAREWELL
The 37-year-old has been speaking to UEFA about how it feels to be signing off from international football in the Finalissima.
"It's beautiful. Argentina have exceptional players. It's obvious that the first one who comes to your mind is [Lionel] Messi but the others around him are fantastic – they didn't win [the Copa America] by accident."
Reflecting on his international career, he said: "It has been, without a doubt, better than I could ever have imagined. When you're a kid, you dream of playing for the national team, because that's the ultimate. The thought of being able to play more than 100 games over the course of 18 years, being captain, and lifting an important cup like I did last year at Wembley was the icing on the cake."

ARGENTINA BOSS LIONEL SCALONI ON ITALY
“They are undeservedly not at the World Cup," Scaloni said in his press conference.
“They are European champions and won a year ago. They are a top-level nation who have done everything right.
“They have a top manager and are not at the World Cup because the ball simply did not want to go in in some matches."

MANCINI - 'THERE'S A TROPHY UP FOR GRABS'
“It is a wonderful trophy, between two great national sides who won the two continental tournaments,” the Italian boss told RAI Sport.
“There will be 90,000 fans in the stadium and we will try to honour the fixture. I expect an open game against an extraordinary team, as Argentina have great players and perhaps the best of all time along with Maradona: Messi.
“We must try to do well, even if we are at the end of a tiring season and nobody can be at 100 per cent the way they were a year ago for the Euros. There’s still a trophy up for grabs and we’ll try to win it.”

WELCOME
Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Finalissima at Wembley between European Championship winners Italy and the Copa America champions Argentina.
Italy return to the scene where they defeated England on a dramatic penalty shootout back in July last year to take the European Championship crown, but they've since lost to North Macedonia as they failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
Roberto Mancini will be hoping his side can pick themselves up for this match against the South American giants, with legendary defender Giorgio Chiellini set to make his 117th and final appearance for Italy.
Let's grab the team news ahead of this 19:45 BST kick-off.
