SPURS IN GERMANY
Tottenham have lost six of their last seven knockout stage matches away to German opponents in Europe, winning just once and finding the net in just one of the last five of those games.

FRANKFURT ATTEMPT
Gotze turns his man well 25 yards from goal but drills a low shot straight at Vicario.
Spurs were under the cosh there but defended a succession of corners well.

FRANKFURT ATTEMPT
Bahoya is one of two Frankfurt players left in acres of space on the right side of the area after Spurs fail to deal with a raid down the opposite flank.
The forward scuffs his 15-yard shot and it's easy for Vicario in the end, but the visitors were almost caught cold there.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Bundesliga side have only won one of their five encounters with Spurs in European competition (D2 L2).
That solitary triumph was a 2-1 home success in the second leg of  a Cup Winners’ Cup quarter-final in 1982.
