It's over as the referee takes pity on Standard Liege and pulls it ten seconds early. A solid nights' work for Arsenal, bagging all three points thanks to some highly promising performances from their youngsters.

Aubameyang makes hay down the left for Arsenal now. His cross finds Martinelli, but he can't direct his header on target.

A brief chance for Amallah. who plays a quick one-two on the edge of the Arsenal area before smashing his shot high over the bar.

There will be three added minutes, which Liege hope will pass swiftly.

A Tierney whipped ball from the left finds the onrushing Ceballos in the box, but he plants his header straight at Milinkovic-Savic. Seconds later, Aubameyang digs the ball out of his feet in the area but scoops the ball just over the bar.

Yet another pass down the inside left channel releases the electric Martinelli. His first time cross is cleared by a sliding Liege defender.

Martinelli cuts it back for Torreira this time, whose shot is blocked. Seconds later Vojvoda clobbers Martinelli, and is rightly booked.

Carcela-Gonzalez goes on a run down the right away from holding, and lofts a ball to the back post that his colleague can't control before it dribbles out for a goal kick.

Martinelli takes a turn at embarrassing Vojvoda now, nutmegging him down the left before firing a low cross in to Pepe, whose shot from eight yards is blocked and cleared.

More changes here. Aubameyang replaces Nelson for Arsenal while Amallah takes the place of Lestienne for Liege.

Nelson goes past Vojvoda for the umpteenth time tonight, and cuts the ball back across the area. It falls to Ceballos and then Torreira, who both have their shots blocked before Liege clear.

Changes afoot; Avenatti replaces Emond for Liege, while Guendouzi replaces Willock for Arsenal.

Bastien leads a rare Liege break down the left. He cuts the ball back to Mpoku on the edge of the area, but Holding rushes out to block the attempted shot.

Liege are knocking it around nicely if ineffectively here. It's a long old time to the final whistle.

Pepe goes on a meandering run after Arsenal win the ball deep in Liege's half. He gets into the area before hitting the deck theatrically. The referee is not having it, and Liege clear.

A change for Arsenal, as Pepe replace Maitland-Niles.

Nelson whips a cross in at goal from the left, Martinelli glances it and the ball just hits the unknowing Milinkovic-Savic and bounces away for a corner. So close to his hat-trick.

Willock tries to slide in Bellerin down the left, but just overcooks it and a promising opening disappears. There was a change for Liege after the fourth goal, with Carcela-Gonzalez replacing Boljevic.

Bastien has a yahoo from distance now for Liege, but it flies well wide of the goal.

Martinez is briefly called into action, as Mpoku launches a fierce angled drive that he palms over the bar for a corner.
