Scotland grabbed a 2-2 draw against Georgia and Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay was not impressed with the behaviour of Georgia's players. "Rolling around, crying like babies all afternoon is not football," said McTominay, who scored his seventh goal of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying. Scotland manager Steve Clarke praised his side for “plugging away” and getting a result.

Scott McTominay branded Georgia players a “disgrace” for “rolling around and crying like babies” in their 2-2 draw with Scotland.
Manchester United’s McTominay continued his fine scoring form for Scotland with his seventh of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
There were 32 fouls during the game and six yellow cards shown, three to each side.
McTominay was frustrated with the behaviour of the Georgia players, telling Viaplay: "They've got some really good footballers but tonight, the way they were acting, it was a disgrace in terms of provoking the referee.
"Anyway, that's football and that's sometimes the way it goes. We have to keep our heads but it's difficult.
"There's some disappointed heads in the dressing room but I feel like it's something we can build on after coming back twice.
"They should do something about people pretending that they're injured when they're not.
"It's a difficult one to call but rolling around, crying like babies all afternoon is not football.
"For us, we just wanted to get on with the game and play and do our best. Whereas on the other side was provoking the referee a lot."
Scotland snatched a draw with an injury-time goal from Lawrence Shankland.
The goal keeps Scotland’s slim hopes of topping Group A alive, although to do so they need to beat Norway in their final match and hope group leaders Spain lose to Georgia.
Both Spain and Scotland are already assured of qualifying.
Scotland manager Steve Clarke praised his side for “plugging away” in the face of Georgia’s “shenanigans”.
"That's one of the challenges when you come here, you know they will do everything they can to get a positive result," said Clarke.
"You have to react to that. We have to make sure we control ourselves and don't get involved, don't encourage any sort of shenanigans.
"We just kept going, kept plugging away, we knew there was going to be extra-time because now they have a better handle on time wasted, and it was nice to score in injury-time."
