So how will Scotland pick themselves up after that late equaliser? They have been the better team, but there's no doubt the players will still be thinking about how close they were.

The first period of extra time is under way! It's 1-1 between Serbia and Scotland in this Euro 2020 playoff final.

There will be two minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Serbia 1 Scotland 1 (90 mins - Luka Jovic). It's a late, late, late equaliser! Heartbreak for Scotland! Jovic gets on the end of a corner kick delivery into the middle, he heads down into the ground and the ball bounces back up and into the top corner of Marshall's net! Are we heading for extra time?

A third Scotland change and it's the goalscorer who comes off. Replaced by Paterson.

This is it for Scotland now. Serbia are well on top. It's dominance from the home side. Can Scotland hold firm? The hosts now have Mitrovic AND Jovic to hit with crosses into the box.

Huge chance for Jovic! For the first time, Serbia win a header from a cross into the middle! It was Jovic who got on the end of the delivery, but his header flashes just wide of the near post! Marshall was beaten!

... and the second change sees McLean replace McGinn for the final five minutes.

Finally, a couple changes for Scotland. On comes McBurnie for Dykes...

Gallagher is touch tight! The cross comes into the near post, Mitrovic was on the prowl, but the Scotland defender was strong, kept his eye on the ball and made the headed clearance.

It feels like now might be the time for Clarke to make some changes. Scotland are looking increasinly weary. Serbia are seeing more and more of the ball. Some fresh legs needed.

The risk for Scotland here is that they slip too deep and invite too much pressure on top of themselves. Make no mistake, though, Clarke's side are now soaking up and playing on the break.

Mitrovic heads wide! The Serbian striker wins a header inside the Scotland area, but Marshall was always confident it was heading wide, and he was right. The away side survive again.

Katai also comes off the bench for the home side. It's do or die for Serbia now.

Here comes the calavry for Serbia, with Jovic coming off the bench for the final 15 minutes.

He was quiet in the first half, but Christie has really come on to a game in the second half. He's the one making things happen for Scotland. The Celtic man can smell a second goal.

Mayhem in the box! Christie's freekick delivery into the middle isn't dealt with by Serbia, the ball bounced around the box, but the scrambled clearance is eventually made for a corner.
