That's it, the game is over, and it's a point for both sides after a game desperately low on quality. Will that be an important point for the Republic of Ireland when the group is done, or have they missed a golden opportunity here?

CHANCE! Hendrick's looping outswinger finds the head of Duffy, who plants his header straight at Loria who holds it on the goal line.

One last chance here, as the Republic win a corner on the right. Hendrick to take.

ANOTHER CHANCE! Whelan launches a long clearance that suddenly releases Connolly. He outruns the Georgian defence, with the ball bobbling and drifting slightly away from goal. Connolly launches a half volley at goal but it ripples the side-netting.

We're into four additional minutes.

HALF A CHANCE FOR CONNOLLY! McClean beats his man again down the left and fires a low cross into the box. It breaks to Connolly in the left of the area, who drills in a low shot that's well held by Loria.

Arburjania is on for Georgia, replacing Kiteishvili.

Kakabadze, the right-back, shoots from thirty yards with his left foot, and it goes nowhere near the goal.

Georgia win another corner, but can't clear the first man. The quality in the attacking thirds has just not been there for either side. Grigalava picks up a yellow for a cynical foul that breaks up play.

Whelan tries to hit Connolly with a long ball through the middle, but it's overhit and runs through to Loria.

Coleman and Egan get in a mix-up at the back. It breaks to Lobjanidze, who opts to cut inside rather than shoot and Ireland scramble it clear for a corner.

Connolly is straight into it. He exchanges passes with Coleman as the Irish look to find a way into the Georgian area, but it's cut out and Georgia clear.

Kiteishvili has a long, speculative effort that deflects out for a corner, which comes to nothing.

It's time for Aaron Connolly, who replaces Collins up front. For Georgia, Lobjanidze replaces Okriashvili. The Republic of Ireland need two wins in their last three qualifiers to make it to Euro 2020; can they grab a crucial goal in the embers of this game?

Another good jaunt down the left from McClean leads to his looping cross being flicked out to Hendrick at the back of the penalty area. He has a yahoo at goal, but locates only the side of the net. Loria looked to have had that covered.

Changes afoot. Browne replaces Robinson for the Irish, while Shengelia comes on to replace Kvilitaia for Georgia.

Coleman loses the ball on the right for Ireland, but Georgia can't string the passes together to punish them and the ball finds it's way back to Randolph.

McClean does well to turn a potential goal-kick for Georgia into a throw-in, but it's indicative of Ireland's toils up front, where the combination just hasn't worked.

Georgia are suddenly at it, and the crowd are up; Qazaishvili whips in a dangerous ball from the left but Egan rises to head clear.
