Vardy lifts an effort well over the bar. We are into one minute of time added on to this first half. And there goes the whistle for the break. A 2-0 lead for England at half-time.

Arvydas Novikovas smashes an effort wide of the goal. Ball fades away to the left of Butland's post. Not much danger of that one finding the target.

Shelvey drives the ball at the home goal from 22 yards. Plenty of pace on the ball, but Arlauskis is right behind that effort from distance.

Novikovas drives a ball wide of goal from 25 yards. Plenty of venom on the hit, but lacked the direction after skipping away from Vardy.

GOAL! Kane plays a one-two with Lallana before racing onto the loose ball. Smashes the ball into the net. No chance for Arlauskis as the ball goes under him.

Spalvis with a thumping hit from 18 yards, but Butland is alert to make his first stop of the night. Solid diving save by the England keeper.

Lallana with the cross trying to pick out Jagielka in the middle, but just couldn't get his head on the end of that delivery.
