Injuries have hindered Real Madrid in recent weeks. Bale and Kroos are the latest to have been sidelined, and so Solari doesn't have much in the way of options on the bench.

Real Madrid have started the second half with more tempo and intensity. Solari's message at the break appears to have got through to his players, but can they keep this up?

Good play by Benzema! Casemiro clipped a ball over the top for Benzema, who did brilliantly to control and set up Reguilon for the shot. But the left back's effort is saved by Cuellar.

Ceballos takes aim! The young midfielder takes a pass about 25 yards out and drives to the edge of the Leganes box. However, he slices across his shot and Cuellar watches it flash wide.

Leganes made a change at the break, with Silva coming on for Gumbau. Not sure if an injury was a factor there.

The argument could be made that Legane have in fact been the better of the two teams so far, but Ramos' goal at the end of the first half changed the dynamic of the match.

It's Ramos who steps up to the 12-yard mark and the Real Madrid captain makes no mistake in burying his shot. Cuellar guessed the wrong way and the home side have an advantage that didn't look like coming in this first half.

Was that a soft penalty? Oh there's not much in that. Odriozola went down inside the area, but was he already starting to go down before Gumbau came in with his challenge. Hmmmm...

Real Madrid overplay it! Benzema nutmegs an opposition defender on the edge of the box, but in the end the play is just a little too intricate and Vinicius stops the move by giving away a foul.

There is so much space in behind the Real Madrid defensive line for Leganes to exploit. They should continue to play passes through because that's a strategy that is working for them.

At what point will Real Madrid engage in this game? They have started sluggishly and are now being outplayed by Leganes, who are growing in confidence and influence.

What a save! That could have been an opener for Leganes. Braithwaite got on the end of a corner, his header was a powerful one, but Navas makes the big save at his near post!
