This will go down as a historic result for Hercules, but Barcelona wil reflect on a dismal game against third tier opposition. They will have their key players back for the Clasico, but I'm not sure Lucho will look at this as good preperation for facing Real Madrid on Saturday.

Of course, there will be a second leg which will provide some comfort to Barcelona. It will be a different kind of game on the vast pitch of the Camp Nou.

Turan and Rafinha haven't done enough to drag their team through this game. The onus fell on them as the experienced attackers, but they simply haven't delivered for Barcelona.

Can either side find a winner? All of a sudden Barcelona have picked up the tempo and have the home side pegged back. They are peppering the penalty area with crosses, lots of them.

Lucho looks thoroughly fed up on the Barcelona bench. He just wants to go home and prepare for the Clasico. This has been a dismal performance by his side.

The home side are putting Barcelona under pressure. They have had three corners back to back. The Spanish champions aren't liking this one bit. They're under the cosh.

Lucho looks disgruntled on the bench. This is a third string team he has put out, but nonetheless you would expect better from Barcelona against third tier opposition. Really poor.

Hercules are doing some pressing of their own as they look for what would be a famous win against Barcelona. It's quite an open affair, which will surely work in their favour.

Cardona looks lively since coming on. The youngster is keen to get a goal on his debut. This time he shoots at the Hercules goal, but the goalkeeper does enough to scramble it behind.

Of course, Barcelona have the Clasico against Real Madrid on Saturday. They won't care too much about this result and performance. All eyes are on the weekend's game.

Finally, there is some urgency about Barcelona as they realise they are 10 minutes away from a fairly humiliating draw against third tier opposition. They are going direct.

Barcelona make their third and final change of the match. Off comes the goalscorer Alena and he is replaced by Cardona for his senior team debut.
