Balenziaga gets his cross into the box from high up on the left wing, but after climbing higher than Godin Aduriz can't get over the ball enough and loops his header into the arms of Courtois.

Athletic Bilbao are enjoying a good spell of possession at the moment but as always Atletico are proving stubborn when it comes to breaking them down on the edge of the penalty area.

Indeed the sight of Luis being stretchered off, to be replaced by Insua, is not a pleasant one for Atletico Madrid eyes. He's a crucial player for Simeone and this looks like quite a serious injury he's picked up.

Filipe Luis is down on the ground after hyper-extending his right leg as he went into a challenge with Iturraspe. This could be a big blow for the away team. Doesn't look so good for Luis.

Costa looked to have scored at the weekend against Rayo Vallecano, ending a goal drought, but in the end it was given as an away goal. That means the Brazilian born striker is still lookin for his first goal in 2014.

Good to say Muniain back in the Athletic team. Valverde's side missed the little winger in the first leg and he seems to have been given a free role across the front three tonight. He's switching from left to right, and back again.

Adrian Lopez has been handed the start by Simone, with David Villa left on the bench. Will that tactic pay off for Atletico Madrid or will they have to call on the former Barcelona attacker later in the game?

This has been a very frenetic start to the game although the away team have started slightly better. Athletic are struggling to make the ball stick in the opposition half. They need to calm the pace of the game down.

Huge chance for Costa! The Brazilian born striker beats the offside trap to go through one-on-one with the goalkeeper but Herrerin makes himself big and pulls off the save. That could have killed the game!

Atletico Madrid lead 1-0 from last week's first leg, meaning Athletic Bilbao need to score at least once to progress into the last four of the Copa Del Rey tonight.
