The United players take the knee. Black lives matter.

I didn't realise the Atleti kit has a stick of rock roundneck collar. Interesting...
    19:57
    And here they come!
    19:56
The players are tunnelled and the ground is getting warm.

Earlier, Owen Hargreaves was saying the best thing about United is De Gea, and it's true he's saved them a fair few times in this competition, the league too. But his refusal to come off his line makes defending in front of him difficult, and is one of the main reasons United have defended set-pieces so poorly.
    19:46
We watch some VT of Sancho, who is so beautiful to watch. He thinks so quickly, and keeps the ball so close to him, which gives him so many options in possession.
    19:42
Rangnick tells BT that the team and crowd need to be on top form tonight. They need high energy from the start, which is why he's gone for McTominay and Bruno, not Matic and Pogba - "high energy from the start". Elanga plays because he offers "speed and verticality", which makes sense if they can find space in behind.
    19:41
When they talk about fear, they don't mean someone who might give them a kicking, they means someone they're fearful of letting down. Alex Ferguson was brilliant because he was scary, though he was, he was brilliant because his players loved him.

What a hat-trick it was. And, though the first and third goals got most attention, the tap-in is the one that I found most significant, because those are what he needs more of. In fairness to him, he's not had great service, but he also needs to play further forward, trying to apply the final touch not make the play.
    19:35
On Ronaldo, he's been dreadful lately - anyone else is dropped weeks before he was (or wasn't). But maybe that worked, because he played with much more aggression against Spurs.
    19:33
He actually goes on to say how humble and helpful Ronaldo is - unprompted, which suggests he means it. I wonder how many of his teammates agree.
    19:32
Alex Telles thinks this game is important. More news as I get it.
    19:30
    19:29
Reminder: away goals are no longer deployed to break a draw. If the scores are still level at full-time tonight, we'll have extra time, and if that remains the case at the end of that, penalties. I'd not be at all surprised.
    19:27
One piece of good news for United is that Geoffrey Kondogbia is only fit enough for the bench. He played well in the first game.
    19:25
Ralf Rangnick makes me laugh. In VT we saw of him earlier, he said of his team's first leg first-half performance "We did almost everything wrong." He does not muck about.
    19:21
Atleti have won all three of their games since the first leg, and that front two of Griezmann and Joao Felix is tasty. They've not got loads of creativity elsewhere, but with a back five and three runners in front, they're not easy to penetrate. Which is another reason United are playing Dalot: they'll want to stretch the play and overload on the flanks, because going around Atleti might be easier than going through them.
    19:18
At the start of BT's coverage, Jake Humphrey was banging on about what a huge game this is for United, and as someone who's spent a small fortune following them about, I wish he was right. But the first-leg collapse showed us that whole United have the talent to give anyone a game, they haven't got the minerals to hold it down when it gets on top. These games are much bigger for the teams with serious hopes of winning the thing, and it stings them a lot more if they lose.
    19:15
Otherwise, in midfield Bruno and McTominay return, so Pogba and Matic drop out. I imagine Ralf Rangnick contemplated playing him on the left, but it didn't work the last time he tried it, in the first leg, and Sancho is playing beautifully in that position. Anthony Elanga, then, is an obvious pick for the right, given Marcus Rashford's form.
