Los Blancos face Legia in the Pepsi Arena in the Polish and will expect to follow up their comfortable 5-1 victory in the reverse fixture last month with another routine win. Madrid currently sit joint top of Group F - level on seven points with Borussia Dortmund - and a victory against bottom side Legia would put them in a strong position to qualify for the knock-out stages. If there were 31,000 jubilant Legia fans inside the Polish Army Stadium things could be a lot different for Real as the hosts finished the half strongly, but in truth, Real should be out of sight. Gareth Bale's opener was worthy of the grandest of stages, while Karim Benzema's second was more of a team effort. Vadis Odijdja's incredible solo strike means all is not lost.

Some of Real's passing tonight has been sublime, and this move was of the highest quality. Mateo Kovacic delightfully threaded the ball into the path of Bale, who pulled it back for Benzema to convert into the bottom corner.
