Lavezzi is furious when what he feels was an attacking PSG throw is awarded to Barca. The home fans share his sentiments.

@cfc1905fans says "i think it will be a 2-1 for Psg..." - it's bold but they have forced some fine stops from Valdes so far - and hit the post... and @j_villacreses concurs: "PSG can come back and win it still. Not saying it'll be easy... But they can do it. Ibra won't go without scoring at least once!"

Bit of treatment for Messi and Barca play for a moment with ten men, but fans will be pleased to know he's fine to continue. Just a thigh tweak and he'll be allowed back into play shortly.

Messi finds more space to enter the box than in previous attempts and almost punishes the hosts with a left-footed drive which just misses the top corner.

PSG had come closest to breaking the deadlock beforehand but will kick themselves now. Alves has been the best player for Barca and Messi has started to pick things up in the last five so it's not a surprising combination for our first goal of the tie.
