Harry Kane scored again as Bayern Munich beat bottom club Darmstadt 5-2 in the Bundesliga. The win moves Thomas Tuchel’s side on to 60 points. They are seven points behind surprise leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen having played a game more. Xabi Alonso’s side will look to re-open a 10-point lead at the top of the table when they take on Freiburg on Sunday.

Harry Kane scored his 31st goal of the season and Jamal Musiala bagged a brace as Bayern Munich came from behind to beat rock bottom Darmstadt 5-2 to keep their title hopes alive.
Thomas Tuchel's side, who have been drawn against Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals, dominated the first half but found themselves behind when a counter attack led to Tim Skarke sliding the ball in.
The Bavarians equalised eight minutes later when Kane teed up Musiala who tucked the ball in.
And the reigning champions grabbed the lead on the stroke of half-time when Kane headed in Joshua Kimmich's cross to break the record for the most goals in a debut Bundesliga season, overtaking Hamburg's Uwe Seeler. Kane would later leave the field injured after appearing to turn his ankle.
Musiala grabbed his second when he ran onto Thomas Muller's quick throw in, cut inside and fired a shot in via the keeper's foot.
Serge Gnabry was among a flurry of late substitutions and he grabbed the fourth a few minutes after coming on, as he did against Mainz last weekend, with a cool finish from Musiala's pass.
And another sub, Mathys Tel, netted the fifth in added time from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's flick on while Oscar Vilhelmsson scored a consolation for the hosts.
The result sees Bayern move seven points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who face Freiburg on Sunday.

TALKING POINT - Bayern keep up the pressure on Leverkusen

While Bayern seem unable to keep clean sheets they are in free-scoring form after netting eight against Mainz last weekend.
They have an advantage in playing before Leverkusen due to their rivals playing Thursday nights in the Europa League.
But so far the pressure has not got to Xabi Alonso's side who are unbeaten.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH

Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich): The 21-year-old continued his electric form since the winter break with two goals and an assist putting an otherwise inconsistent start to the campaign behind him.
