FT: Freiburg 0-1 Bayer Leverkusen. That's it, all over and Leverkusen grind out an ugly but vital win. That's to a smart finish from Havertz, they go third for now.
Tapsoba makes a big block, allowing Paulinho and Diaby to go up the other end and run out the clock.
Gunter's corner sails through the Leverkusen box without anyone in red applying a touch.
Amiri booked for dissent.
Yellow card
N. Amiri
Resolute defending from the visitors so far in added time.
Four added minutes.
Somehow, Leverkusen get caught on the counter-attack, Gunter is played in down the left and squares the ball to an unmarked Pedersen on the penalty spot. Pedersen takes it on first time but doesn't get enough power in the shot, allowing Hradecky to save. That was a huge chance.
The 17-year-old Wintz and the impressive Bailey make way for Paulinho and defender Tapsoba.
Schmid takes but cannot beat the wall.
Bailey fells Schmid around 25 yards from goal in a fairly central position. It's just right or centre. Not where you want to concede a free-kick.
Alario earns the game's first booking for a clumsy tackle.
Yellow card
L. Alario
A deep cross is half cleared by Leverkusen and falls invitingly for Gunter to volley, but he hits the ball straight into the ground.
Frantz, Kwon and Waldschmidt are on for Koch, Grifo and Holer, who missed that great chance in the first half.
Alario almost puts Diaby through but puts a little too much on his through ball. Diaby, having had his arm tugged a little, perhaps could have had a case for a penalty.
Schmid sees an opening and tries his luck from range, winning a corner in the process as a defender helps his effort wide.
Havertz will not continue - Diaby is on for him. In a double change for the hosts, Schmid and Gulder replace Sallai and Kubler.
Havertz has gone down after a collision with Sallai and stayed down. He's off the pitch, so play can continue, but he looks in a bit of bother.
Leverkusen have the ball in the net again but it is disallowed - and rightly so. Baumgartlinger gives his marker a healthy shove before heading home, and the whistle was going as the ball crossed the line.
Sinkgraven makes way for Alario in the first change of the match.
