I'll level with you: I've skin in this game. My wife is British-Ghanaian, and last week I got back from nearly a month in Ghana. As such, I had the pleasure of watching the Morocco game in Accra - what a treat that was!

On which point, before the competition, I was really looking forward to seeing Kamaldeen Sulemana, about whom I've heard good things. But he's been very poor so far, even if the service to him has been even worse.

One goal in two games really makes you wonder why Felix Afena-Gyan was cut from the original squad. Sure, he's only 18, but if he's good enough to turn out for Roma, he's an option worth having in Afcon, I'd say.

Looking at the teams, this shouldn't really be close. But Ghana have better players than Gabon and Morocco too, neither of whom they beat.

Comoros, meanwhile, leave out Youssouf B, Abdou and Abdullah, bringing in Zahary, Mogni and Ibroihim

Ghana make one change to the team that were so poor against Gabon, Fatawu Issahuku taking the place of the injured Baba Iddrissu.
