Adil Rashid has starred for England in the Caribbean with seven wickets from their first four T20I fixtures. He becomes the first Englishman since Graeme Swann to top the rankings in the T20I format. Dawid Malan is the only English player to feature in the ODI lists following their dreadful World Cup display while batter Joe Root stays second in the rankings for the world's best Test batters.

West Indies v England - Highlights of 4th T20I as England look to level series

England leg-spinner Adil Rashid will end the year as the world’s top ranked T20I bowler.
His seven wickets in the first four matches of his team’s ongoing series against the West Indies have moved him up two spots to top the ICC standings for the first time.
Rashid’s success in the Caribbean has taken him above fellow leg-spinners Rashid Khan of Afghanistan and India’s Ravi Bishnoi.
His recent dismissals have also seen him become the first Englishman to reach 100 wickets in the format.
Rashid also becomes the first England player to reach the No.1 spot in the rankings for T20I since Graeme Swann more than a decade ago.
Despite making the headlines, Rashid was not picked in the recent auction for the Indian Premier League.

'Historic!' - Rashid becomes first Englishman to take 100 international wickets

Sam Curran is the next highest placed English bowler on the list at 13th.
Phil Salt has risen to 20th in the batting ranks, while captain Jos Buttler stays eighth.
After their terrible Cricket World Cup campaign, only one England player has reached the top 10 in any discipline for the updated charts in the ODI format - with Dawid Malan rated the ninth best batter.
Joe Root stays second among the Test batter rankings, behind New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.
Ollie Robinson and James Anderson both remain in the top 10 of best Test bowlers, which is headlined by India’s Ravichandran Ashwin.
Australia’s Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon have all moved up in the list.
