Emma Raducanu continues to play sparkling tennis at the Miami Open and she eased to a straight-sets win over Amanda Anisimova on Monday to reach the last eight. Former US Open winner Raducanu, who ended her two-week partnership with coach Vladimir Platenik just before the tournament, says she is enjoying being able to express herself in the Florida sunshine.

Emma Raducanu is pleased with how she has been able to express herself at the Miami Open after storming into the quarter-finals.
Raducanu has had some impressive wins in the Florida sunshine, and she was far too good for Amanda Anisimova on Monday, winning 6-1 6-3.
The Brit ended her two-week partnership with coach Vladimir Platenik just before the tournament.
Platenik said after parting ways with Raducanu that he "never had a player who improved as fast as Emma" - offering hope that her form was on the upturn.
After a difficult start to 2025 on the back of a couple of lean years, Raducanu dispatched Sayaka Ishii, Emma Navarro and McCartney Kessler on her way to the last 16.
No. 17 seed Anisimova went the same way, as Raducanu overpowered her from the back of the court to set up a last-eight meeting with Jessica Pegula.
"I've come a long way in the last week, I think since Indian Wells I wasn't necessarily feeling great about my tennis, about everything," Raducanu told Sky Sports.

"But this week I have some really good people around me, who I trust and who I have fun with off the court as well and that's extremely important, I think.
"For me who's just very expressive, when I play my best I'm definitely authentic, true to myself and creative.
"I feel when I'm boxed in into a regimented way, I'm not able to kind of express myself in the same way. I'm happy with how I've realised that this week as well."
Raducanu dominated the opening set, not even losing a single point on her own serve. Anisimova looked frustrated, and she needed a medical timeout to deal with a right wrist issue at the end of set.
She made harder work for Raducanu in the second set, but it was not long before victory came the way of the 2021 US Open champion.
"I just knew I had to dig every ball that I could and make it as physical as possible because I backed myself in that regard," Raducanu added.
"I was happy with how I moved, how I extended the rallies from the first game, the first points and kind of just got in my opponent's head."

Gauff trying to figure things out
Coco Gauff admitted she "felt awful" and was still trying to figure things out as she crashed out of the Miami Open.
Former US Open winner Gauff was beaten 6-4 6-4 by Poland's Magda Linette in the last 16 in Miami.
"It wasn’t great today," Gauff said. "It hasn’t been the last few weeks - I’m trying to figure that out.
"Definitely not happy about it. Just one of those days when I felt awful in everything on the court."
Linette made no effort to hide her delight after the win, saying: "Beating Coco for the first time is a huge achievement for me. She’s so tough. Even on her worst days, she’s so, so tough."
Linette will play Jasmine Paolini in the last eight, after the Italian came from behind to beat Naomi Osaka 3-6 6-4 6-4.
"It's really tough to play against her," Paolini said. "I'm so happy because she's a really tough opponent."
