BREAK! Clijsters earns another break point of her own with a sweeping forehand onto the sideline which is just too good for Stosur. The Aussie then sends a forehand long into the green to concede yet another break in this fourth set. When will someone hold?!

BREAK! Clijsters is really struggling now, hitting a regulation backhand into the net to give Stosur a break point from deuce. The reigning champion saves it with a perfect backhand into the corner, but sees Stosure earn a second with another deft backhand volley. Stosur snaps up the second break point, and has her third consecutive break of the Clijsters serve.

SET! She can! Stosur holds serve to 15, with a thumping forehand volley down the line to seal the game. They're all square on Arthur Ashe, after an hour and 20 minutes of play.

BREAK! The Aussie makes it three straight breaks on Arthur Ashe, with another pin-point volley from the net. She'll have one more chance to serve for the set, can she take it this time?

BREAK! Stosur is furious with herself, and rightly so, as she sends a forehand wide down the line to hand Clijsters three immediate break back points. And sure enough the Belgian does break back to level again as a Stosur forehand goes into the net

BREAK! Clijsters backhand catches the top of the tape and bounces backh onto her side of the net, which hands Stosur a break point. And yet another double - that's six from Clijsters - hands the Aussie the break and she will serve for the second set after the change of ends

Great play from Stosur to level up once again, plugging away at the same spot on the court (on the cross court forehand) until Clijsters gets frustrated and goes for too much, coming up with error. And the Australian goes on to hold when Clijsters hits into the net

A first game point goes begging Stosur when her backhand half volley just goes wide but the Australian does level up at the second attempt when Clijsters sends a forehand into the net

A second love game for Clijsters sees her turn the match around for the second time and she egdes ahead in this second set. Can Stosur prevent the Clijsters onslaught this time?

BREAK! A tame backhand into the net from the Aussie hands Clijsters two break back points. Stosur saves the first with a forehand winner while Clijsters wastes the second with a backhand return of serve that drifts wide down the line. But Stosur squanders a game point with her first double of the night and hands Clijsters a third break point with a second straight double. This time a cracking backhand return of serve across court forces the error from Stosur and we're back on serve

Clijsters looks like she is easing towards a comfortable service hold before she dumps a forehand smash into the bottom of the net and slaps down a double fault to let Stosur back into it a deuce. But the Belgian recovers just in time coming up with a decent first serve that Stosur can only return long, and she goes on to hold when the Aussie hits a forehand approach shot into the net
