British No. 1s Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper will face off in the opening round of the US Open mixed doubles event.
Raducanu has teamed up with world No. 2 and five-time Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz, with the pair being given a wildcard entry for the new-look competition.
Draper, meanwhile, will play alongside Jessica Pegula at Flushing Meadows after their respective partners, Paula Badosa and Tommy Paul, both withdrew.
The British and American duo qualified for the tournament directly and will be the top seeds, with both players in the top five of the singles rankings.
Men’s world No. 1 Jannik Sinner is among those to be handed a wildcard, and he has teamed up with Katerina Siniakova after his partner, Emma Navarro, withdrew.
But before his attention turns to their doubles contest against Belinda Bencic and Alexander Zverev, the Italian is set to face Alcaraz for the fourth time this season as the pair meet in the final of the Cincinnati Open on Monday.
The US Open mixed doubles will then take place on August 19-20 before the singles tournament gets underway on August 24.
The last 16 and quarter-finals of the doubles will be played on Tuesday, before the semi-finals and final unfold on Wednesday.
There is $1 million (£749,000) at stake for the 16 pairs competing in the event.
