Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have both had stellar years in 2024 after sharing the four Grand Slams between them. Most of the focus will be on Sinner and Alcaraz heading into this year's ATP Finals, but the Italian was keen to highlight the talent amongst all this year's finalists. Sinner begins with a match against Alex de Minaur on Sunday evening, while Alcaraz faces Casper Ruud on Monday.

Jannik Sinner says it is too early to assess his rivalry with Carlos Alcaraz, as the duo prepare for the ATP Finals.
Sinner and Alcaraz will be amongst the eight players taking part in the prestigious end-of-year tournament in Turin, which starts on Sunday.
This year’s four Grand Slams have been shared between the two players, with Sinner claiming both the hard-court majors in Australia and the US.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz successfully defended his Wimbledon title and secured his first title at Roland-Garros.
However, Sinner insists that it would be foolish to focus on the narrative surrounding himself and the Spaniard.
“I always say it's very tough to talk about rivalry when we are so young,” he said.
“It was the first year where I won so many things, and for him, it was his second year doing so because he’s already won four Grand Slams.

“But now we are all very, very good players. We are great players. It's very tough to beat anyone here.
“So, it doesn't really matter who is in a group stage. Everyone deserves to be here. And then we see what comes out.
“It's going to be a great tournament – hopefully for the crowd to watch too - with some great encounters.
“But in terms of talking about the rivalry; we are too young.”
Sinner has been drawn in the Ilie Nastase group for the finals, which includes Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur.
The Italian's first match is against De Minaur on Sunday evening, and he heads into the competition as the favourite due to his world No. 1 ranking.

"I take this tournament just like any other, and I'm very happy to be here. Hopefully, there are going to be some great matches.
“People are coming to see some good tennis and hopefully, that's the case.
“It has changed a little bit from last year, but I’m the same person in terms of how I approach these matches.”
