Taylor Fritz said "there’s something about Eastbourne" after claiming a record-extending fourth title at the tournament with a straight-sets victory over Jenson Brooksby.
The world No. 5, who had previously lifted the title at Eastbourne in 2019, 2022 and 2024, dispatched fellow American Brooksby 7-5 6-1 on Saturday.
"There's something about Eastbourne," said Fritz. "I just love it here. Every year I come here and it's such a good week.
"All the other years I felt like I was very fortunate to not have to play in the wind, which is pretty crazy for how often it is windy here.
"I fought through a lot of matches, and I just got better and better with each match. I feel like I really upped my level in this match and played a good one.
"Every year I’ve been here the support at this tournament is incredible. The energy around the site and how excited everyone is to have the tournament here is great to see."

When asked about his Wimbledon chances, Fritz added: "I'm going to be ready to go. I'd much rather go into the tournament with confidence and a title."
Fritz rallied from a break down to take the first set, before going on to win eight of the match’s final nine games.
The victory means the 27-year-old has won eight of his nine matches on grass this year, a run that includes a victory over world No. 3 Alexander Zverev in the Stuttgart Open final two weeks ago.

"I think it’s going to be a big week for you at Wimbledon."
