Snooker returns to China as the best players on tour battle for success at the Wuhan Open.
After suffering a quarter-final exit at the English Open, last year's Wuhan Open champion Judd Trump will not retain the title he won with a 10-7 triumph over Ali Carter in 2023.
The Englishman was defeated by Si Jiahui in a sparkling display from the 22-year-old, including a maiden 147 maximum in Friday's semi-final.
The likes of world champion Kyren Wilson and Mark Allen will also be targeting success.
Play gets underway on October 7, live on Eurosport and discovery+, with the players battling for the £140,000 first prize.
When is the Wuhan Open?
The Wuhan Open 2024 begins on Sunday, October 6 and concludes on Saturday, October 12.
What is the format for the Wuhan Open?
All matches up to and including the quarter-finals will be the best-of-nine frames.
The semi-finals are best-of-11 frames, with the final a two-session, best-of-17 affair.
