THAT'S US DONE FOR TONIGHT
Well done to Kyren Wilson, and thanks for your company. See you again soon.
the players collect their prizes
And Kyren hoists the trophy for the second time, his ninth ranking title. And he's just getting started.
KYREN SPEAKS
He reiterates Barry's praise for the tournament and says the atmosphere was great. Both players could've played better but it was a great final with a bit of everything. After the clearance in which he long-doubled a red, they laughed in the toilet, Kyren not knowing what he had to do to shake his opponent off.
He then notes that both her and Barry worked with Brandon Parker, after whom the trophy is named, and says he had to put his cue-issue out of his mind. He's pleased.
BARRY SPEAKS
"Er, yeah," he says. He felt like he was holding on all day, Kyren was playing better, but you get to a final frame and it's anyone's. He saw the in-of was on but had to go for it; Kyren played better though, and deserved it. He'll keep going and see where it ends up.
KYREN WILSON BEATS BARRY HAWKINS 10-6 TO WIN THE GERMAN MASTERS
An absolute belter. It always looked like Kyren would have just enough, but both players were great. You've got to feel for Bazza, who loses his second final of the season.
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (65-16)
Barry reduces the deficit, but running out of position soon plays a poor safety leaving a mid-ranger for the title ... and LKren composes, then creams it into left corner! This is his third ranking title in addition to his world title, and he is flying!
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (64-8)
Oh my goodness! Barry pots red off black into left corner ... and in-off into right-middle! One red and Barry will need a snooker. So Kyren surveys another plant, has a think ... and crunches it home! Barry needs two snookers, and an undercut pink means he'll get a go at chasing them! This match will not finish!
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (59-0)
Barry looks glum as Kyren draws ever nearer the trophy. There are still five reds in the cluster but two may plant ... we're going to find out. I think they do and they do ... but he can't force it down, also developing the black! Barry is still in the match!
‘Barry’s not amused’ – Crowd see funny side as Wilson sticks Hawkins in outrageous snooker
Video credit: TNT Sports
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (39-0)
Getting the pink on to the black spot, Kyren opens the frame even further, he plays for a difficult red, drains it, and he's taking these calmly. So far.
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (18-0)
Kyren couldn't have hoped for a better chance than this. The only thing stopping him is pressure.
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (6-0)
Now we're playing in and out of the pack, which gradually is opened. And when Barry goes hard at one a long one to left corner, he catches way too much of it, careers into the pack, and this is another chance to leap for the trophy.
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (0-0)
Both men miss to middle, and we end up with the white on the top cushion, reds down the table, and no sooner has Fouldsy predicted a re-rack than there's a re-rack agreed.
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS (0-0)
An ovation, a handshake, and away we go. This has been a jazzer of a match, and there's an atmosphere to match.
WILSON 9-9 HAWKINS
Barry lamps in rthe brown and the 15th German Masters has the tournanent's first final-frame decider! Sehr gut!
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (43-73)
I'm surprosed to see Kyren go at a double, he doesn't get near, and Barry cleans up, poting green to middle. Kyren needs two snookers to tie and of course he's going for them, but this frame is over. Yes!
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (41-70)
Kyren cues nice and straight to dispatch the final red, rams in the black. ... and gets nice and close to the the yellow, overhitting a little but still blocking if off. And Barry misses! But Kyren refuses the pot then goes in-off! This game! Again, Kyren needs a snooker.
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (29-66)
Great shot from Barry to get from penultimate red to black, he secures the frame, and we're close to getting the decider they, we and the cosmos deserve. Kyren comes to the table needing a snooker ... and flukes the red in behind the pink and near left corner. There's laughter, then Bazza gets it out of there.
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (29-58)
Kyren closes the gap, but it's a struggle, and he misses a red to middle; Barry gets away, quickly developing a red. There's a really difficult red, next to the pink and near the side, which he won't necessarily need, but in the meantime he's nudging towards the frame.
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (17-30)
Oh Barry. He misses to the middle, Kyren tidies, and this is a chance to seize the trophy. The balls aren't easy, but they're pottable.
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (11-15)
A blue to middle ... stops well short of right-middle. I didn't expect that – Kyren was nowhere near with it – and from looking set to push on for the finish, Barry is now crafting a riposte!
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (10-0)
Righto, good safety from Kyren earns him a go at one to left corner, he cuts home, sneaks through a gap, and he's on the blue. This is a chance to take control of the frame.
‘Possibly a game-changer’ – Hawkins nails unlikely full-table double in thrilling final

WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (4-0)
A safety-exchange of high quality. No one's getting nowt for owt.
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS (4-0)
This tournament has never seen a final-frame decider and Kyren won't want this year's to be the first. His break-off lands white behind green; Barry misses then hits.
WILSON 9-8 HAWKINS
Kyren is one away, but Barry is capable of winning two straight.
WILSON 8-8 HAWKINS (74-10)
He can't though, quite close out the frame, Barry returing to the table with two snookers required, but a unsual fluke or treble, depending – Kyren plays off top and middle into middle. The frame is now unarguably his.
WILSON 8-8 HAWKINS (49-10)
Not for long. Barry goes for a curt-back plant, doesn't get it, and Kyren is going one up with two to play.
WILSON 8-8 HAWKINS (38-10)
There's much pressure on every shot now, and work for Kyren to do. There are five reds left in the cluster, three on top of two, flat, and he measures then goes at them, but they give him little in return. End of break and a reprieve for Barry.
WILSON 8-8 HAWKINS (9-10)
Kyren sinks a nice starter ... only to miss yellow to middle. So Barry gets away and quickly opens the pack, a confident move .. but can he back it up? He cannot, cueing across a cut-back black and leaving a chance. If Ky-Rizz can get the big dog back on to its spot, he'll be in decent shape ... and he can. Big visit coming up.
WILSON 8-8 HAWKINS
Barry clears the balls, and this is now a best of three.
WILSON 8-7 HAWKINS (23-41)
Barry builds, but his attempted cannon doesn't bring out a red he's after. But have a look! A long double ... disappears into the yellow bag! He works his way on to the final red, slots it along the side, and this looks like being another storming clearance to level.
WILSON 8-7 HAWKINS (23-13)
Couple of lovely pots from Kyren, who theatrically drops head on to the table when a nice red offers no reward. He forces a go at the green, misses, and noe Barry will chip away at the balls.
WILSON 8-7 HAWKINS (18-7)
Barry forces it, massively overcutting down the side to left corner ,,, but Kyren then undercuts an easier ball, and leaves it over the bag, accssible via plant. It's not easy but it should go down ... and it does not, the pace at which it's played more or less guaranteeing to leave something. So Kyren gets away, the table a difficult one.
WILSON 8-7 HAWKINS (9-7)
...but a poor positional shot and he's soon playing safe off the brown. As the trophy hoves into sight, the frames are getting longer and tighter.
WILSON 8-7 HAWKINS (9-1)
You don't always get a final in which both players play well, but this has been excellent all the way through, the play positive and imaginative. And as I type, Kyren first strokes home a starter and lands on nowt, then works out a beauty of a plant before sending the green long and slow to left corner ... only to miss a much easier blue! Barry gets himself away...
WILSON 8-7 HAWKINS
It feels like Kyren has just a bit more and will get there in the end, but Barry is more than capalle of winning three on the spin.
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS (72-45)
Kyren lays a cunning snooker, green hidden behind brown and white hidden behind black. Barry misses once then leaves a free ball, but Kyren opts to lay another snooker; rightly so. Because the escape leaves green across the table to middle – it's frame-ball – and it's there. And though he can't sink the brown, when Barry tries a snooker of his own. he escapes, then smokes in a pot to seal the frame.
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS (57-45)
A missed pot apiece, Barry leaves one, and can Kyren finish from here? The green is up the table, and going hard at the yellow with the rest in order to get at it ... he misses the pot. It's getting tense now, Barry removing yellow but no more.
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS (50-43)
Kyren has a chance to develop the hardest of the remaining reds, near the yellow bag, but it doesn't work out. So he moves back up the table and leaves himself a testing cut along black cush ... which he caresses home confidently. He can't, though, get on the final red, so plays safe.
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS (28-43)
...but you're always a shot away. Forced to cue over a red for a cut to left corner, Barry doesn't give it enough, and the way the balls are, he'll be concerned. This game.
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS (13-43)
A fine safety exchange ensues, then Kyren misses a longun by a way – for the first time tonight. So Barry contemplates a plant ... and sinks it beautifully. Kyren will feel very poorly if he goes behind, given how well he's played, but The Hawk is now hitting his best level...
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS (13-13)
It's Kyren in first, a nice cut to right corner dropping dead-weight after he'd been left near left-middle. He soon misses a tight one to the same bag, but Barry cant punish, landing on nothing after breaking the pack
Hawkins produces sublime clearance to steal 12th frame and level brilliant German Masters final
Video credit: TNT Sports
WILSON 7-7 HAWKINS
Barry secures the frame with a humdinger of a flat ton; he too attempts a no-look black, Kyren joining in the laughter. It's a best-of-five!
‘What a walk-on!’ – Wilson dazzles audience with epic entrance during German Masters final

WILSON 7-6 HAWKINS (26-69)
Each time Kyren has threateed to go away, Barry has brought him back, and this match is of a standard.
WILSON 7-6 HAWKINS (26-53)
If Barry could level here, telling Kyren he'd seen his hot-streak and what of it, that'd up the pressure. The run is going to get harder, though ... but as I type, a delicate blue that cannons the pack has Fouldsy purring. This is going be 7-7.
WILSON 7-6 HAWKINS (26-24)
Barry needs something and he finds it, a lovely rest-shot to left corner, on the stretch, and he's on to the black; excellent. He then liberates a red or two more when forced to ruffle the pack, and this is good stuff.
WILSON 7-6 HAWKINS (26-0)
The difference is still only one frame, and Barry isn't playing badly. But as I type, left in an invidious position, he first misses then butchers, and that leaves Kyren a chance. He can't, though make much of it, a break of the pack yielding little, so plays safe.
we go again
Barry will have to hope the interval stops Kyren's momentum, because if he plays as he played, he'll be very difficult to stop.
THAT'S THE INTERVAL
See you in 15.
WILSON 7-6 HAWKINS
Kyren has improved so much since becoming world champion, simply by virtue of becoming world champion, like France after the 1998 World Cup. A run of 125, a no-look black that sends both balls flying off the table, and Kyrizzle is flying.
WILSON 6-6 HAWKINS (77-0)
This has been another ripper of a run from Kyren who has, save one missed pink that cost him the frame, been faultless in this mini-sesh.
WILSON 6-6 HAWKINS (50-0)
Leaving himself a difficult red, Kyren strokes into right corner, but he's still playing difficult shots and sinking them superbly. He backs himself to pot almost anything these days, partly because he expects to make almost everything, partly because he expect to win win frame and match anyway at some point.
WILSON 6-6 HAWKINS (27-0)
Kyren goes at a long one but ctaches the near jaw, but only leaves a difficult one to middle ... and Barry can't send it down. So he tidies up and will now try to pot the last frame out of his mind. He quickly works his way on to a red at the bottom of the pack, knowing he's opening everything, it leaves him a difficult black, he deals with it, and must be focusing double-hard to avoid jiggering his hard and brilliant work a second time.
WILSON 6-6 HAWKINS
Kyren looks ill and who wouldn't. An amazing break ruined with an unexpected miss, a tremendous clearance under pressure and we're back level! Settle in!
WILSON 6-5 HAWKINS (58-47)
And he pots it very handily indeed! Big blue to left corner ... and it's there! This game! Pink and black for parity...
WILSON 6-5 HAWKINS (58-38)
One poor shot is all it takes to change things but Kyren doesn't look likely to play one. the final red with the rest, though, isn't easy ... but he smokes it into left corner and Barry will now he has 't played badly, his opponent is just on one. And of course, as I type, Kyren overcuts pink to right corner, and what a steal this could be! Green to brown is the big shot, the latter ball near the side. He it comes ... nand ot bad, he's behind it to middle.
WILSON 6-5 HAWKINS (36-32)
Left in a horrible position, Barry takes on a snick to middle knowing he's bringing balls into play, ... and sinks it well. But from near the knuckle he's only kind of on the pink, the width of the table away along the cushion, so has a think then plays safe. Problem being, there's a long red Kyren'll take on ... and look at that! He guides it into right corner, his second one, to the yellow bag, is also a screamer ... and when he runs a little out of position, a third to middle is sensational. This is a champion's start to a session from Kyren.
WILSON 6-5 HAWKINS (5-32)
Kyren looks regretful as Barry crafts an opening. But the bunch looks hard to get anything from, wide rather than stacked, and shonuff when he has at it off the black, he can only play safe on to the bottom cushion.
WILSON 6-5 HAWKINS (5-10)
Barry could really do with this next frame – he can't have Kyren getting on a roll. And he'll know it might be slipping away from him – he's won four titles but lost nine finals, including two Masters and one world. He'll know. Meantime, Kyren sinks another lovely starter ... only to so soon miss to left corner, and this is a chance for Barry. He doesn't have to make something of it but the way his opponent is playing, he can't afford to miss many socring opportunities. So he picks are loose reds, and will soon have to break the pack.
WILSON 6-5 HAWKINS
Marker from Kyrizz. He plays with such freedom now he's world champ, spieling with house money, lifetime's ambition realised.
WILSON 5-5 HAWKINS (61-33)
Kyren nudges in front but the last three reds aren't easy; he plays for one under the black, he's on it ...and he cuts a tight one back just past the near knuckle and into the bag. He then splits the other two, and Fouldsy rebises his opinion that Bazza is getting back to the table. This is briilliant stuff from the world champ, who just about wobbles in a pink that's much easier than various he's made look easier in this run. Hemight be on one here.
WILSON 5-5 HAWKINS (17-33)
A decent safety earns Kyren the chance to float in brilliantly from middle to left corner. He's so good at sinking a starter when he needs one - that and his rest-play help him bridge the talent gap to the likes of Judd Trump and Ronnie O'Sullivan. Which isn't to disparage him, he's one of the best around, and he's proving it again tonight, a fine cut-back sending the white around the angles and now he's in prime position.
WILSON 5-5 HAWKINS (0-33)
Baz fights hard to keep at the table then develops a few reds off a pink to left corner ... but is he on one? Er, not really. so he ends what's been a good effort sooner than he might otherwise have done.
WILSON 5-5 HAWKINS
Kyren must've slammed a shot so hard he disturbed his cue's architecture. But on we go and Baz snicks an opener into left corner thenps the run running with one across the nap into the middle.
WILSON 5-5 HAWKINS
Yup, an excellent start to the evening from Kyrizzle, but he seems to have a problem with his tip. He speaks to the ref, who leats him try a shot, then shows it to Baz, who has a fiddle. The ferrule, which is the bit between cue and tip, appears to be loose.
WILSON 4-5 HAWKINS (44-0)
Kyren accumulates, the frame surely soon to be his.
WILSON 4-5 HAWKINS (30-0)
Another loverly long red, this tie to right corner, sets Kyren away again, but then a poor blue means a recovery-pot to right-centre ... and he drains it nicely. He looks in the mood tonight.
WILSON 4-5 HAWKINS (23-0)
Kyren digs into the bunch but in the process he sends pink and black safe. While he plots his next move we learn that, if he wins tonight, he'll become only the third player to take three ranking titles plus the world championships in the same season - Henrdy and Trump are the others - then he plays safe.
WILSON 4-5 HAWKINS (16-0)
Statement of inrtent from Kyren sending a starter spinning from near-centre to left corner; beautiful pot. And he's straight on to the black, taking it with loose reds.
AND OFF WE GO
our boyZ baize
The atmosphere is something.
these two are so well matched
Kyren is better, of course, but Barry is a terrific matchplayer and in great form – he was excellent in dispatching Yuan Sijun last evening and gave Judd Trump plenty in the UK final. He's got every chance tonight.
we go again
This should be good!
HAWKINS EDGES CLEAR OF WILSON AFTER FIRST SESSION
Barry Hawkins and Kyren Wilson traded centuries at the end of the first session of the German Masters final in Berlin with Hawkins edging 5-4 clear before they play to a finish on Sunday evening.
A crowd of 2,500 inside the Tempodrom in Berlin saw world champion Wilson make a fast start to an engrossing afternoon with breaks of 67 and 62 before his opponent rallied by winning five of the next seven frames.
Hawkins would produce knocks of 53 and 75 on his way to carving out a 4-3 lead before Wilson responded with a glorious 128 to restore parity at 4-4.
There was little between the players, but it was former world and Masters finalist Hawkins who had the final say with a classy run of 102 seeing him move ahead before they play to a finish at 7pm GMT on Sunday night.
The first player to 10 will win the Brandon Parker Trophy and £100,000 first prize with Wilson chasing a second title after winning in Berlin in 2019.
LATEST: HAWKINS 5-4 WILSON
'This time he's got it!' - Wilson sinks lovely double against Hawkins
Video credit: TNT Sports
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (102-0)
A 102 to the final red from Barry Hawkins. He will lead 5-4 before they resume at 7pm (GMT) this evening. Could be quite the finale in Berlin.
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (84-0)
What are the odds on a final-frame decider tonight? Hawkins coming to the fore with his scoring prowess, but the outcome of this final right in the balance.
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (70-0)
A superb three-ball plant is rolled in with ease as Hawkins continues his forward progress. Chance of a century from Barry here too. Which be a nice way to end the afternoon sesh.
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (38-0)
A lot more neat and tidy from Barry on this visit. Keeping the white under lock and key. Looking very good to move ahead in this final.
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (13-0)
Not the worst split on the pack for Barry as a red comes out nicely for him to continue this visit to the table.
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (5-0)
Chances early in this frame, but both players missing reds with the rest. Hawkins then slides a lovely red into a right centre to gain access to the baize. All about the split on the pack.
Hawkins 4-4 Wilson (0-0)
Who is going to get their nose in front before the prizes are dished out this evening? Has been a fascinating first session of this match, and as tight as you would expect it to be with Hawkins 11-9 ahead on the career head-to-heads.
Hawkins 4-3 Wilson (0-130)
And in goes the first century of this final from Kyren. Just what he was looking for. 129 break from Wilson to level us up at 4-4. One more frame of the session to come.
Hawkins 4-3 Wilson (0-80)
Chance of a century from Wilson in the penultimate frame of the first session. The world No. 2 hoping to make his seventh century of the week.
Hawkins 4-3 Wilson (0-56)
Wilson in charge of his own destiny in this frame. But he loses the white in potting the black. Forced to confront a tough cutback pot on a red to left middle. And he drops it in with some coolness. Brilliant pot, and that should close the door on Hawkins returning to the table in the eighth frame.
Hawkins 4-3 Wilson (0-9)
Get the feeling this match could go quite deep this evening in the push to 10. Has that sort of vibe off it. Both players look very evenly matched. This time Hawkins pushes a red over a top pocket after catching a safety too thick. What can Kyren come up with here?
Hawkins 3-3 Wilson (63-19)
Barry doing what needs to be done to finalise the frame with a neat little cameo run at the end of the frame. A 4-3 lead for Hawkins, who has won four of the past five frames from 2-0 down.
Hawkins 3-3 Wilson (41-19)
Barry with a fabulous long red before he does likewise by dragging in the black to hold for the next red. Suddenly has chance to extend his advantage in the frame. Hawkins has not led yet in this final. But creeping towards winning post as a red along top cushion is despatched.
Hawkins 3-3 Wilson (24-14)
White back in baulk after Barry can only offer up 24. That will be a relief to Kyren, who comes up with a three-ball plant on reds. But white is welded to a side rail. So just the safety to follow.
Hawkins 3-3 Wilson (15-13)
Barry sticks up a red for Wilson early in the seventh frame, but the world champion can only make 13 before missing blue to right centre. Opens the reds too. Which is worse news for Wilson. Kyren takes a seat as Barry returns to work.
Hawkins 3-3 Wilson (0-0)
Off we go then for three more frames of this afternoon session. Who is going to carry a lead into the business end of the final this evening? Fair to say, neither man is performing at optimum level so far. 3-3 about right from the action today.
Hawkins 2-3 Wilson (91-0)
Break reaches 56 and Kyren won't be coming back to the baize in this frame. Job done by Bazza.
'Oh what a shot!' - Hawkins nails fabulous green down side cushion
Video credit: TNT Sports
Hawkins 2-3 Wilson (50-0)
Brilliant double by Barry on a red to right middle to continue the break. Cue ball all over the show at times, but has continued to pot balls. And that is the key part of the assignment. On the cusp of 3-3 here.
Hawkins 2-3 Wilson (37-0)
As you would expect, a strong response from Hawkins as he forces the mistake from Wilson after a tough safety exchange. Nowhere really for Wilson to run to. Chance for Hawkins to build a lead in this sixth frame of the afternoon.
Hawkins 2-3 Wilson (16-0)
Lovely pot on a red by Barry to left middle, but he is quickly out of position so forced to declare on 16 by nudging white to the top cushion.
Hawkins 2-2 Wilson (1-81)
Very aggressive start to the fifth frame by Kyren and an aggressive end to it. Certainly not hanging back. He leads again at 3-2 in the race to 10.
Hawkins 2-2 Wilson (1-43)
Another stunning shot by Kyren to plant home another stunning plant. In goes red, and reds go flying. Which has opened up the rest of the frame. Should be a 3-2 lead for the world champion when he leaves the table.
Hawkins 2-2 Wilson (1-31)
Chance then for Kyren to assert himself with a substantial break in the fifth frame of the final. But he is out of position on 31.
Hawkins 2-2 Wilson (1-1)
Another slam dunk attempt on a long-range shot from Wilson is well off potting angle. This time he leaves Hawkins with a starter. But only one coming from it before Kyren drops in a decent long red.
Hawkins 2-2 Wilson (0-0)
Wilson goes for a long red, doesn't make the pot, but doesn't stick up an easy opener for his opponent. Hand of apology from 'The Warrior' to 'The Hawk'.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (54-26)
And that is that for the first four frames. Barry knocks in blue with extended rest. Kyren has seen enough. Another five frames to come after the break.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (49-26)
What a stunning pot by Barry on the green down a side rail. Went at it full blooded with screw and it didn't touch the sides. Back up for the brown to move 23 ahead with only 18 left up. Looks like 2-2 at half-time. Very tight nip-and-tuck battle at the Tempodrom.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (40-26)
Not exactly free-flowing vintage stuff here, but very tough matchplay snooker. Hawkins escapes from a difficult snooker, but leaves a red along top cushion and in it goes. Wilson trying to take a 3-1 lead against the head into the mid sesh. But he can't slot the final red along top cush. On we go with the drama. Green on a side rail at top end of table. Still needs to be sorted out.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (32-9)
Wilson pushes the boat out by trying to drain a pink down the table to yellow pocket. Doesn't drop, and back comes Barry with a nice red and powerhouse blue combo. That will boost his self-belief levels. But another rest shot proves to be his undoing as he rattles the jaws with attempt on green.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (19-1)
Another long red attempt by Kyren is nowhere near the potting angle, and he leaves a red near yellow pocket. Concerned look on Wilson's face. No wonder. He has let Hawkins gain a foothold here. And this is similar to last night against Yuan when 'The Hawk' really found his stride after being frozen out early on. But he is faced with a tricky pink, and jaws the object ball. More gasps from the crowd in Berlin.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (6-1)
Terrific red to left centre drops from Kyren, but he then misses a pink to the other middle pocket. That is a bit of a blunder. Bazza goes straight into the pack off blue. But somehow doesn't land on one. That is incredible. Just the safety to follow.
Hawkins 1-2 Wilson (0-0)
"That frame felt like a mini-match within the final itself," said former Masters champion Alan McManus in comms. One more frame before the mid-session break.
Hawkins 0-2 Wilson (76-30)
Hawkins put through the wringer in this frame, and it is not finished yet as he misses a long red. Wilson mopping up final two reds with pinks to close to within 30 points. 27 left up. But there is black in baulk, and he can continue chasing the one snooker he needs. Well, he could until he butchers green with rest and sticks it up. Hawkins takes a tense old third frame by slotting the final few colours. Back to 2-1 behind.
Hawkins 0-2 Wilson (57-14)
Well, this could be a massive turning point in the final. Brilliant cross double by Kyren on a red and he has split two reds that were in tricky positions via a tricky pot with the rest. This would be a huge steal. But he isn't ideally on pink. So just the safety shot to follow. Had to reel himself in there.
Hawkins 0-2 Wilson (53-0)
This is quality from Hawkins. Needed a big response after the opening two frames, but is right in stroke now. Excellent shot from green to land on red to right centre. But he then missed the easy red after the white ball was up and down the table like a yoyo. So frustrating. Well, could that miss be costly.
Hawkins 0-2 Wilson (15-0)
Super long red by Hawkins which will do his confidence no harm. Caught that red flush and it gallops down the pocket. What can 'The Hawk' piece together here. Chasing a fifth ranking title at the Tempodrom tonight.
HAWKINS 0-1 WILSON (12-97)
A 62 break from Kyren. Played solid safety to leave Hawkins in trouble and a 62 goes with the 67 in the first frame. Barry yet to pot a ball in this match. Which reminds you of the goings on against Yuan Sijun in the first two frames of the semi-final last night.
HAWKINS 0-1 WILSON (12-50)
Couple of cracking pots by Kyren as a red and a blue disappear to the green pocket. Hawkins left a half-chance with a safety escape and will be fearing the worst. That opens this frame right up for the world champion with the blue back on spot. Pink and black also in open. So chance to get the second frame of the final won.
HAWKINS 0-1 WILSON (12-34)
A cracking plant by Kyren to slam in a plant from distance. Played with safety and then tucks up behind brown. So a few problems for Hawkins here. Twice fails to produce the two-cushion escape by glancing off a red. And same again the third time. Job done the fourth time.
HAWKINS 0-1 WILSON (4-18)
Kyren short with the escape from deep, but isn't punished as Barry can't clip in the red. Another chance for Kyren to go to work as he slots a red off the red that Barry left. And lands on the black too for good measure. Can't split pack from blue, but a few come out to continue the contribution. But he the misses red to right centre. Didn't expect that error. Shocked gasps from the crowd.
HAWKINS 0-1 WILSON (0-4)
Hawkins is 11-9 clear of Wilson on the career head-to-heads between this duo. So little to split them over the years since their first meeting in 2010.
HAWKINS 0-0 WILSON (0-80)
Fabulous start to the day by Kyren who was trying for a maximum at one point on 63. Out of position in baulk, but recovers well with a brown to right middle being drained at pace. Forced to declare on 67, but almost over the line. And in goes another fine red to right middle to surely seal the deal. Wilson making a fast start to the final.
HAWKINS 0-0 WILSON (0-31)
Early drama as Kyren tries to prod in a long red. Fails, but Barry ends up clipping black in trying to pot a red. So Wilson with real chance, hand on table here and looking to make a vibrant start to the Super Sunday in Berlin.

HAWKINS SPARKLES TO SET UP FINAL WITH WILSON IN BERLIN
Barry Hawkins set up a German Masters final with world champion Kyren Wilson after reeling off six straight frames in a majestic 6-2 semi-final win over Yuan Sijun at the Tempodrom in Berlin.
Buoyed by wins over Shaun Murphy and Neil Robertson, Yuan made a fast start to Saturday evening with breaks of 82 and 70 before former world finalist Hawkins assumed control with a flawless display of matchplay snooker.
Breaks of 89, 54 and a couple of 83s from the world No. 12 were well-supported by some stoic safety play and a fabulous long game as Yuan cut a deflated figure the longer the night progressed.
Wilson had earlier eased into the final with an equally dominant 6-2 semi-final win over Xiao Guodong in a one-sided semi-final.
The world champion raced 3-0 clear against the world No. 17 and never looked back with Xiao, who won his two frames with knocks of 72 and 55, struggling to find the consistent level of scoring form that had carried him to the last four.
Wilson produced breaks of 88, 100 and 57 to boost his hopes of becoming a double winner of the event after his 2019 victory in the German capital.
The winner will collect the Brandon Parker Trophy and £100,000 first prize in Sunday's best-of-19-frame final.
