The Northern Ireland Open 2025 is set to get underway at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, as the world's best meet for the second Home Nations series tournament of the season.
Mark Williams, fresh from his landmark victory in Xi'an to become the oldest ranking event winner of all time at 50 years old, is straight back into the thick of it as he bids for his second Northern Ireland Open title.
Judd Trump claimed the trophy in 2023 but lost his crown to Kyren Wilson, who defeated 'The Ace in the Pack' 9-3 in last year's final.
The pair return to Belfast for another go, as Trump - who won the tournament for three successive years between 2018 and 2020 - searches for a record-extending fifth title.

Who is playing in the Northern Ireland Open?
Seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan is not among the 64 names battling it out for the £100,000 jackpot, after he was defeated by Gary Wilson at the Xi'an Grand Prix quarter-finals.
Local hero and home favourite Mark Allen gets his campaign underway against Robert Milkins, with all eyes on a third title after claiming the trophy in 2021 and 2022.
Wilson gets his title defence underway against Oliver Lines, while the most successful player in the tournament's history, Trump, plays Anthony McGill in round one.
