Jack Lisowski said he felt like passing out and that he was dreaming after securing a first career title with victory in the Northern Ireland Open.
After six defeats in ranking finals, Lisowski broke his title duck with victory over Judd Trump in a dramatic clash in Belfast.
Trump got the better of his good friend in three previous finals, but at the fourth time of asking, Lisowski emerged victorious.
It was not smooth sailing as the two were never separated by more than one frame, and Lisowski looked extremely nervous in the decider.
He went back to his chair after lashing at a pot, but got back to the table after Trump missed a tough red with the rest and Lisowski picked off the balls required to get his hands on the Alex Higgins Trophy.
"I feel like I am going to pass out," Lisowski said in his post-match interview on TNT Sports. "I have never felt like this in my life.
"It is so surreal, I feel like I am dreaming. I have thought about this moment since I was six or seven years old. It has probably taken a bit longer than I would have liked it to, but I don't know. I feel like I am dreaming.
"I would like to feel like I am not going to pass out."

Lisowski, whose father died earlier this year, had words of praise for his friend Trump.
He said: "I just want to say to Judd, we have been friends since we were like 14. He was there with me in Hong Kong about eight months ago when I got the message about my dad, and you have been a better friend than I could ever ask for these last eight months.
"He is one of the greatest snooker players of all time, but he is a better friend than I could ever wish for and you are the closest thing I am ever going to have to a brother and I love you."

Asked if he had thought he would never get his hands on a title, Lisowski replied: "Yeah, every day.
"I go on Instagram or Twitter and every day there is someone messaging me saying I am never going to win a ranking title. I don't know why, as I don’t say ‘yeah I am so good, I am going to win everything’. I think I am quite a humble guy."
Lisowski spoke about how he had not won a tournament while his father was alive, and dedicated the victory to his parents.
"I’ve got my dad’s socks on today," Lisowski said. "When he passed away the first thing I said to someone was he never saw me win a ranking title, but my friend said you can do it for your mum, so this is for him if you are watching down and for my mum."

Looking to the future, Lisowski added: "I would like to think this gives me a bit of a boost.
"Hopefully, this is the start of my career. I have been a pro for 14 or 15 years, I’ve served my apprenticeship and now I am here I guess."
