ENGLAND DOMINANT IN WIN OVER SCOTLAND
England cruised to a 40-8 win over Scotland in the quarter-finals of the Women's Rugby World Cup.
And now we have four. In two weeks' time, one of England, France, Canada or New Zealand will be world champions.
England were absolutely dominant, scoring seven tries to battle the heavy rain and overpower Scotland.
Scotland's World Cup dream ended at the quarter-final stage as they bookended the match with an early penalty and a last-minute try which was nothing more than a consolation in the end.
The first semi-final between New Zealand and Canada is next Friday under the lights at Ashton Gate.

CAN ANYONE STOP ENGLAND?
For England, it was as drama-free as they could have hoped for and a lot of key players put in their best performances of the tournament.
The Red Roses will also be boosted by the return of Aldcroft and they are still favourites to win this tournament.
This was also a record-breaking 31st straight win for England and their 26th in a row against Scotland.

SCOTTISH RUGBY AT A CROSSROADS
Scottish women's rugby is at a crossroads as only 15 players will receive professional contracts going forward.
Bryan Easson has just shared his thoughts on the dispute, saying he believes everyone in the squad deserves a contract.
It will certainly be a talking point going forward, especially after a successful campaign.

THE SEMI-FINALS ARE SET...

MALCOLM: IF THE PLAYER VOICE IS INCORPORATED WE CAN MOVE THIS SPORT FORWARD
Scotland captain Rachel Malcolm, speaking to BBC Sport, said: "Hugely disappointed with the outcome but overall I'm immensely proud of how we've taken steps forward. Everyone who has taken the field has given their all."
On departing coach Bryan Easson, Malcolm added: "It's going to be a big transition. He is a brilliant people manager and has done a brilliant job bringing us forward."
On contract disputes, Malcolm said: "We know this game better than anyone and we all want to push Scotland women forward and if the player voice is incorporated in that we can definitely move this sport forward."

A STRONG TOURNAMENT NONETHELESS FOR SCOTLAND
It may have been a one-sided quarter-final, but this has been a fantastic tournament overall for Scotland.
They negotiated a tricky pool and, even though it was just a consolation, that last-minute try will mean a lot to them.

TALLING: THE PACK DID A GREAT JOB IN GETTING US MOVING FORWARD
Player of the Match Morwenna Talling, speaking to BBC, said: "The weather wasn't great but I think the pack did a great job in getting us moving forward.
"The competition only drives each of us to get better and to put out a performance in a match is great."
On the clash against France:, Talling added "After today, very confident. Just put our heads back down and keep pushing hard in training and we can do it."

ENGLAND BOOK SEMI-FINAL MATCH AGAINST FRANCE
There are tears for Scotland as their World Cup dream comes to an end in comprehensive fashion.
England may have come into this match as heavy favourites but still had to battle the elements and made absolutely no mistake in what could have been a tricky game.
They will face France at Ashton Gate next Saturday.

FULL TIME: ENGLAND 40-8 SCOTLAND

TRY! ENGLAND 40-8 SCOTLAND - LLOYD
As we enter the final minute, England search for a seventh try, but Dow loses the ball after some contact.
One more scrum as the clock goes red. Scotland negotiate the scrum and finally have some space as McGhie breaks through. They are not giving this up yet and take the penalty quickly.
Scotland drive towards the line and just about recover a fumble and Lloyd gets over the line! Nelson is unable to convert and that will be that!

ENGLAND REMAIN TOURNAMENT FAVOURITES
The match is ending in very scrappy fashion. I think both sides would be happy to call it a day now.
England once again have flexed their muscles and France, who will play them in the semi-finals, will be very concerned about this performance.

TALLING WINS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Scotland possession, but England largely remain solid until they concede a penalty. Can Scotland finally get a line-out right? No.
Morwenna Talling has won Player of the Match by the way, as England have a scrum in their own 22.

BOTH SIDES STRUGGLING WITH THE CONDITIONS
Another knock-on, another England scrum. Emma Sing comes on for Megan Jones, who gets a huge round of applause as she jogs off.
Lucy Packer bursts forward but is just about stopped before she can break through the defensive line. She has been electric since coming on.
The match is becoming a bit stop-start as both sides are beginning to struggle with the slippery conditions.

FINAL TEN MINUTES OF SCOTLAND'S TOURNAMENT?
Ten minutes to go, almost certainly the last ten minutes of Scotland's World Cup campaign.
Lucy Packer produces another superb 50:22 for England to put Scotland right under the cosh once more. However, they do regain possession at the line-out.
It has been a chastening afternoon for the Scots but overall a very positive World Cup, reaching their first quarter-final in over 20 years.

TRY! ENGLAND 40-3 SCOTLAND - AITCHISON
It had been coming. After about ten minutes of sustained pressure, England finally find an opening as Holly Aitchison slips into a pocket of space and gets over the line.
It is a relatively routine conversion for her too to add to her personal points tally, converting her own try.
63'
BOTH SIDES MAKE CHANGES
There were a flurry of replacements before the scrum - three for Scotland and two for England. England have the power in the scrum before Lucy Packer, fresh from the bench, looks to make an instant impact.
The Red Roses try an ambitious pass but to no avail, but play comes back for an England penalty, which is kicked into touch.

ENGLAND'S PRESSURE REMAINS RELENTLESS
Atkin-Davies takes a line-out before driving the ball millimeters away from the try-line but can't quite ground the ball.
Eventually there is a fumble in the Bristol rain which gives Scotland a much-needed reprieve. They need to win this scrum though. The scrum collapses and it's an England penalty five yards away.
57'
TRY OVERTURNED! ENGLAND 33-3 SCOTLAND
England think they have a try but it's being reviewed...
"Clear grounding by Scotland," says TMO and the try is overturned. Megan Jones thought she had managed to get a hand on it but Emma Orr JUST got there first.
55'
SCOTLAND'S FUMBLES CONTINUE TO COST THEM
Rachel Malcolm is now getting some treatment for Scotland but is good to continue. Scotland have been better with their line-outs and win a scrum in England's half.
As Ellie Kildunne bangs a drum on the sidelines, Scotland inch forward with some nice play. But another knock-on costs any chance of adding to their score.
England replace the rest of their front row, with Muir and Cokayne coming off for Atkin-Davies and Bern.

ENGLAND SURVIVE SPELL OF SCOTTISH PRESSURE
Scotland get as close to a try as they ever have today but a fumble allows England to regain the ball. The Red Roses are looking to play their way out of the 22 before Dow hacks the ball down the field.
She is having a fantastic match today.
