Marlie Packer will return to the England starting XV as the Red Roses take on Ireland at Twickenham in the Women's Six Nations on Saturday. John Mitchell's side lead the table having won all three of their games so far, including a 46-0 whitewash victory over Scotland in Edinburgh last time out. Amy Cockayne, the hooker, is suspended after her two yellow cards in the last match.

'Chip and gathers' - Porter finishes 'sensational' move for Harlequins' third try

Captain Marlie Packer will return to the England starting XV for The Red Roses’ Women’s Six Nations clash with Ireland on Saturday at Twickenham.
Head coach John Mitchell decided to leave the flanker amongst the replacements for his side’s 46-0 drubbing of Scotland, but Packer made an instant impact by notching the last of the tries in Edinburgh.
Zoe Aldcroft captained the side in Packer’s absence, and she played in the Saracens star's back row position - blind-side flanker - but with Packer’s return, Aldcroft moves back into the second row.
Amy Cockayne, the hooker, is suspended after her two yellow cards against Scotland, and is replaced by Lark Atkin-Davies, who plies her club trade with Bristol Bears.
Emily Scarratt, the Loughborough Lightning centre, is back with the squad on the bench and could be in line to return to action after she missed out on the win over Scotland.
Abbie Ward misses out on a place in the squad, while Sale's Morwenna Talling is on the bench for what would be her first Six Nations appearance.
Jess Breach, Abby Dow and Ellie Kildunne, the back three for all of England’s games so far, scored five of The Red Roses’ eight tries last time out.
Speaking ahead of the tie, Mitchell said: "We are excited for the opportunity of another crack at Twickenham in front of our awesome fans.
"We want to continue to get better in our game and make the most of the experience to benefit us in the future.”
