SARACENS TAKE PLAY-OFF RACE DOWN TO FINAL DAY WITH LONDON DERBY WIN
Saracens fought their way to a 26-12 bonus-point win over Harlequins to set up a final-day showdown with Exeter Chiefs for the final Gallagher PREM play-off spot.
Saracens dominated the contest in Mark McCall’s final home game in charge but could not turn that into a commanding lead, going 50 minutes without scoring after Max Malins crossed the line midway through the first half.
Harlequins had a try ruled out and offered little threat in the 22 for most of the game, but when Will Evans broke clear and found Bryn Bradley to cut the deficit to five points with 18 minutes left it was panic stations for the hosts, until Nick Tompkins’ late try appeared to seal the win.
Even then, Cameron Anderson scored with seconds remaining to give Quins a sliver of a shot at the draw but after they failed to gather the restart, Theo Dan rode his pack over the line to secure an unlikely bonus point for Saracens.
So Saracens are guaranteed a play-off place if they beat Exeter next week while the injury-ravaged Harlequins could lose their Champions Cup place if they drop points to Gloucester on the final day.

COMING UP ON TNT SPORTS
We will of course have that showdown between Saracens and Exeter Chiefs live on TNT Sports and HBO Max next Saturday, but there is so much to take in before then!
Northampton Saints' clash with Gloucester is live right now, as is the battle for the north tonight between Newcastle Red Bulls and Sale Sharks, plus Exeter's trip to Leicester tomorrow.
And of course the biggest game of the season is coming up live tonight only on TNT Sports and HBO Max with Arsenal looking to topple Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final. You can find out how to watch that here, and there is still the championship week left of the thrilling 2026 Roland-Garros too.

WILLIS REFLECTS
The number eight waves goodbye to the StoneX as a Saracen but will be determined to extend his career at the club that's become his second home after his Wasps career came to an abrupt end.
"After losing Wasps, I probably would've been at Wasps the rest of my career, I loved it there," Willis told TNT Sports. "But to come here, to become embedded in another team and another group, getting massively close to the whole team means a massive amount.
"I never thought I'd find another English club and feel like I fitted into the group and was so comfortable as I was at Wasps, and I have done that here and I will miss it massively.
"It's a weird one mentally not knowing when the season is going to finish and now knowing how long you've actually got left with your team and your mates, I found that difficult to manage emotionally I guess."

FULL-TIME: SARACENS 26-12 HARLEQUINS
Saracens have done it! They will go to a final day showdown at Sandy Park after today's bonus-point win, Harlequins fought so hard but just didn't have the cutting edge to get over the line.

TRY!!!!! SARACENS 26-12 HARLEQUINS (DAN)
Saracens get their bonus point and they WILL move into fourth ahead of Exeter's game against Leicester tomorrow. The pack rumbled over and Dan got the crucial touch down, with the StoneX crowd roaring their approval.
80'
SARACENS LINEOUT
It's a disaster restart by Quins, they can't gather the ball cleanly, then Stu Townsend is shoved into touch and immediately the conversation flips from Saracens holding onto their lead, to chasing the bonus point...
79'
TRY!!!! SARACENS 19-12 HARLEQUINS (ANDERSON)
We still have a game! Harlequins break straight back up the pitch through Cleaves as Saracens can never get their defensive line sorted. Eventually numbers are dragged too far to the left and Cameron Anderson - another ex-Wasp - can walk it in on the right.
Smith rushes his conversion and misses but Quins could still force a draw!
76'
TRY!!! SARACENS 19-7 HARLEQUINS (TOMPKINS)
It's wonderful work by the Saracens midfield and their push for the playoffs WILL go down to the final day! Former Wasp Olly Hartley picks up a Farrell offload, bashes Quins out of the way and then finds Tompkins who muscles his way over, drawing a huge cheer.
74'
WHAT A PASSAGE OF PLAY!
It's champagne rugby as play breaks down, Cleaves busts up the touchline, Saracens hit back then lose the ball themselves and Harlequins look to break on the right, only for Cameron Anderson to be knocked into touch.
Quins should welcome this especially with Caluori off the field, but first they need the ball back.
71'
COSTLY ERROR
Nathan Michelow looked like he was tackled but Pearce disagrees, allowing the replacement to steal more yardage. Harlequins compound the issue by losing a lineout, then conceding a penalty that Saracens kick to touch this time... but their arrow is off target too and Quins will break!
69'
MISSED PENALTY!
How important will that be at the end of the season? Owen Farrell misses a long-range penalty that you'd bet on him getting nine times out of 10.
It's interesting that Saracens even took the kick rather than pushing for the try.
65'
COULD'VE BEEN PIVOTAL
Racing towards his own line, Cleaves tried to clear the ball and completely missed it, which could've gifted Saracens a try had the ball bounced differently.
Meanwhile Tom Willis has said goodbye to the StoneX as a Saracen for Nathan Michelow, and Caluori is off for Jack Bracken too.
62'
TRY! SARACENS 12-7 HARLEQUINS (BRADLEY)
Harlequins have life! And Saracens will be ruing those missed opportunities earlier.
Will Evans is the gamebreaker, sycthing through the defence and then finding Bryn Bradley at the perfect time, with the centre crossing under the posts to allow Smith to cut the deficit to five.
60'
COMES TO NOUGHT
Maro Itoje puts in a monster defensive hit to force a turnover and once again Saracens clear, how many more of these chances will Harlequins get?
58'
FARRELL ON
His first intervention will be a defensive one though, as Harlequins have a scrum in enemy territory.
56'
PRESSURE ON SARACENS
We're approaching the deadline Chris Ashton imposed for Saracens to start chasing the try bonus point, and this game needs re-invigorating.
52'
CONTEST IS SETTLING
Some of the bite is seeping out of this fixture as more replacements enter the fray - Theo McFarland for his final Saracens home game alongside Rhys Carre and Alec Clarey, with Ollie Streeter replacing Petro Delgado for the visitors.
49'
CAN'T MAKE IT COUNT
That is gutting for Harlequins, they got to 10 metres out but there were several close calls before Eroni Mawi eventually isolated the carrier and won the penalty. Then they took a quick tap and went half the length of the pitch before a pass to Earl didn't stick.
Quins' only outside back replacement, Cassius Cleaves, has also replaced Kerr.
46'
BIG KENNINGHAM TURNOVER
Tom Willis is felled without making any headway - for once - and Kenningham makes the most of it on the floor, winning a penalty that Quins turn into a lineout on the 22.
43'
FRUSTRATING MISTAKE
Will Porter fumbles a pass to Will Hobson, ending a promising Quins attack and causing the first scrum of the half. And it will have Jonny Green in attendance after he replaced Williams at half-time.
