OGHRE AND WORSLEY STAR AS BRISTOL BEAT GLOUCESTER IN THRILLING CLASH
Gabriel Oghre's two tries and Sam Worsley's perfect conversion rate led the way as Bristol Bears won 49-34 at Gloucester, who remain winless in this Gallagher PREM season.
Oghre and Bristol used a powerful ruck to great effect to take a narrow lead into half-time in a half that swung back and forth, which Gloucester dominated but lacked the final product.
After an end-to-end start to the second half, Gloucester faltered in the final ten minutes as Kalaveti Ravouvou bagged two tries for the visitors to seal the bonus point win.
Gloucester also bagged a bonus point, but this will be little comfort as their worst start to a Gallagher PREM season continues, their miseries being compounded by suffering several injuries as their squad gets more and more depleted.
The win moves Bristol into fourth place ahead of the rest of the fixtures this weekend, while Gloucester remain ninth, only above pointless Newcastle Red Bulls, who lost 36-19 to Northampton Saints in the other game played on Friday night.

SKIVINGTON: "WE'RE DROPPING LIKE FLIES"
Gloucester head coach George Skivington speaking to TNT Sports: "I don't really know what to say, we're dropping like flies. It's difficult at the moment, I'm not going to lie.
"The boys kept going, they didn't give up when everything was going wrong.
"You've got to lick your wounds, count your bodies and go again next week."

WATCH: WORSLEY 'SNEAKS OVER IN THE CORNER' TO GIVE BRISTOL THE LEAD
Sam Worsley stepped up to the plate tonight with his kicking, converting all seven tries as he took the opportunity presented by injuries with both hands.
He also got the match started in perfect fashion with this early try:

ELSEWHERE: SAINTS SECURE WIN OVER SPIRITED NEWCASTLE
Further north tonight, Northampton Saints held off a Newcastle Red Bulls fightback to secure a 36-19 win that sends them top of the table.
Despite racing to an early lead, Newcastle brought the deficit down to just two on two occasions, but Northampton made their quality show as they breezed away in the final stages.

WATCH: MAGIC FROM JOSEPH AS GLOUCESTER MOUNT A FIGHTBACK
For large parts of the match, Gloucester threatened to overpower Bristol, especially with their strong forward pack, and this well-worked try from Will Joseph looked like it could be the start of a comeback but not to be.

WATCH: BEARS RUN AWAY FROM GLOUCESTER IN FINAL STAGES
The final scoreline doesn't do justice to how close this match was with ten minutes to go.
But this fantastic try from Kalaveti Ravouvou was the catalyst for Bristol's late blitz to seal the win.

WORSLEY: "WE STUCK TO OUR GUTS REALLY WELL"
Bristol POTM Sam Worsley speaking to TNT Sports: "It's a turbulent time but we spoke all week about being together, and the boys helped me out so much and made it really easy.
"We stuck to our guts really well and finished it.
On next week's clash with Bath: "It's going to be a tough challenge but it is something we relish. We are going to take it to them."
21:42
OGHRE: "WE ARE COMFORTABLE IN THE CHAOS"
Gabriel Oghre speaking to TNT Sports: "With the injuries we have had to our back line we have got to step up and today was a good example of that.
"We are comfortable in the chaos. In the chaos we find ourselves being comfortable when it is uncomfortable. Ideally we don't concede tries and dominate possession and territory but sometimes games go like that.
On Sam Worsley's performance: "He stepped up this week. For a young guy, he played us around the pitch really well, conducted us well, spoke well. He really deserves it."

FULL TIME! GLOUCESTER 34-49 BRISTOL
Gloucester will finish the match with 14 as Edwards-Giraud picked up an ankle injury in the build-up for that try which was ruled out.
And that will be that! Gloucester dominated for large swathes of the game, but Bristol were simply more clinical. Sam Worsley was fantastic with his kicking, converting all seven tries as he stepped up for his injury-hit side.
As for Gloucester, not only have they suffered a record-extending fourth loss to open the season, but they have picked up a handful of injuries too.

NO TRY! GLOUCESTER 34-49 BRISTOL
Gloucester have a scrum, and break into the 22 with Edwards-Giraud, who has been fantastic today.
After a couple quick passes, Mikey Austin goes over for a try on debut. No more than a consolation but that is deserved for Austin, who has been bright since coming on.
Or is it? TMO review th incident and it looks like the pass from Llewellyn went forward so it will not stand.

TRY! GLOUCESTER 34-49 BRISTOL (RAVOUVOU)
Gloucester have been good at striking back quickly and need to do so again if they want any chance of picking up a first win of the season.
They force a defensive lineout deep in Bristol's 22, but Bears slip their way out of danger before kicking clear.
Bristol counter! There is so much space on the left before Meroni bobbles the ball forward for Ravouvou, who makes no mistake with the try!
That should be that.

Bristol hold firm and Austin cannot gather a ball to relieve the pressure, but play comes back to a Gloucester penalty.
A tap-and-go for Jordan and James Venter finds a small gap to bag another try for Gloucester after Basham's blindside pass to find him.
Byrne converts, and the deficit is back down to one point!

MORE GLOUCESTER PRESSURE
After a quiet first 15 minutes, this second half has caught fire, just like the first half ended.
It is end-to-end again as Gloucester have a line-out in Bristol's 22. They win an advantage as Joseph gets repelled back.
Gloucester try an ambitious kick to Austin who sprints forward but can't get under it. Gloucester maintain the pressure as play comes back to that earlier advantage.

TRY! GLOUCESTER 27-35 BRISTOL (MATA)
Now Bristol pour forward! Mata slips through the two Gloucester second-rows, not the first time that has happened, and gets the try under the posts.
Another easy conversion for Worsley and Bristol restore their eight-point advantage.

TRY! GLOUCESTER 27-28 BRISTOL (JOSEPH)
Gloucester kick for touch, rather than taking an easy three points. Will the gamble pay off?
That is an unbelievable pass from Will Joseph as he finds Edwards-Giraud on the left flank with a monstrous pass.
Edwards Giraud then shrugs off a tackle before switching back to Joseph who touches down, before Byrne gets the conversion.
Bonus points for both sides. Game on!

AUSTIN MAKING IMPACT FOR GLOUCESTER ON DEBUT
Cam Jordan comes on for Gloucester, replacing Matias Alemanno as they look to revitalise their forward pack.
Jake Woolmore broke his nose in the first half but he is continuing without issue in a bloodstained shirt.
Ravouvou charges forward for Bristol but they lose the ball. Austin does brilliantly to find space for Gloucester and gains several yards as their quick passing continues to stretch the Bristol defence.

TRY! GLOUCESTER 20-28 BRISTOL (OGHRE)
After such a frantic first half, this second half has been pretty tame, not helped by frequent breaks as players require treatment.
Edwards-Giraud is the latest player down but he is fine to continue as Bristol have a line-out inside Gloucester's 22.
Here comes the Bristol maul as Gloucester get scattered. They move forward and Oghre goes over for the second time tonight as Bristol extend their lead!
That is also the bonus point wrapped up for the Bears as Worsley maintains his perfect kicking record tonight.

BRISTOL GROWING INTO THE GAME
Once again, it is Edwards-Giraud making gains for Gloucester before Bristol recover well. Byrne keeps hold of a bobbling ball under pressure inside his own 22 as Bristol begin to grow into the half.
Gloucester eventually get enough space to kick into touch.

BRISTOL ATTACK COMES TO NOTHING
Worsley nearly gets through for Bristol but is just stopped in the nick of time. However, the Bears regroup and make a rare foray into Gloucester's half.
They are finding plenty of space on both wings but Fricker steps inside and into trouble, before Freddie Thomas arrests the ball back to end Bristol's fun.
