Bath 48-15 Harlequins result - Santi Carreras scores two tries as hosts cruise to Gallagher PREM victory over Quins

Bath remain within a point of leaders Northampton after running in eight tries in a comfortable win against Harlequins.

The game was competitive in a first half that was lit up early by Santi Carreras' intercept try and the Argentine player scored another with a fine dummy before the break after Bryn Bradley got on the board for Quins and Tom Carr-Smith had restored the hosts' lead.

But the second half was a procession as Dunn soon dived in at the back of a maul to secure the bonus point and, though Kieran Treadwell got one back after a fine grab and clattering run, Ewan Richards grabbed another after good work from Alfie Barbeary.

Josh Bayliss raced down the left wing brushing off challenges and then getting a little help from his friends to get over the line, before Guy Pepper was another unlikely wing scorer after being left all alone on the right flank.

Barnard van der Linde added gloss to the scoreline with the last play of the match. The result leaves second-place Bath on 55 points, one behind leaders Northampton. Harlequins remain second bottom.

A very comfortable victory for Bath in the end and they stay right on the heels of leaders Northampton.
