EXETER CHIEFS HIT NORTHAMPTON SAINTS FOR SIX IN BONUS-POINT WIN
Exeter Chiefs picked up their best result of the season, beating a heavily rotated Northampton Saints side 42-14, scoring six tries in front of a delighted Sandy Park.
Paul Brown-Bampoe (2), Harvey Skinner (2), Martin Moloney and a debut try from Nick Lilley saw Chiefs bounce back from their record-breaking defeat to Gloucester last time out.

Lilley scored the first try of the game, diving over in the corner for his first for the club.
Chiefs worked the ball brilliantly through midfield, before Josh Hodge played the ball to Lilley, who made no mistake with the finish.
Saints fought back after Exeter were brought down to 14 players, following a yellow card for Will Rigg for playing the ball on the floor.
After a sustained period of pressure, Saints worked the ball wide to Jake Garside, who bundled over on his first Premiership start.
The visitors continued to dominate the rest of the first half and looked the most likely to score again, but Skinner’s brilliant breakaway try just before half-time put Exeter back ahead.
Skinner intercepted the ball on the halfway line, before running through to score under the posts.
Chiefs were not done with the first half, scoring their second try in as many minutes to put themselves into the driving seat.
Brown-Bampoe collected Skinner’s pass before beating two defenders, to score his 19th try of the season in all competitions.
Saints wrestled the momentum back at the start of the second half, with captain Tom Lockett scoring after taking a quick free-kick inside Chiefs' 22.
However, Exeter’s experience proved too much in the end for a young Saints side, as they added their fourth and bonus-point try with 20 minutes to play.
With the game seemingly set to fizzle out, Chiefs treated the Sandy Park crowd to a further two tries.
Brown-Bampoe scored his second of the afternoon and 20th of the season in all competitions, latching on to the ball before bursting past three Saints defenders to score.
Hodge set up his third try of the match right at the end of the second half, feeding Skinner to score his second of the day, after a great burst of pace in midfield.
Exeter now travel to Twickenham Stoop next weekend to face Harlequins, hoping to make it two wins from two, whilst Saints' focus remains on their Investec Champions Cup final on May 24.

HENRY SLADE: WE CAN HAVE A GOOD GO NEXT YEAR
"We needed that," Slade told TNT Sports. "~It was an ugly performance, but a win is a win and five points, we will take it after two weeks ago.
"It was just a bit stop-start and bitty, we could not get in our flow for a bit. It felt like one of those days that was going to be frustrating, but we managed to pull away at the end.
"We are not really happy with the performance, but we will take the result.
"It has been an emotional period for a little while. It has been a frustrating year with results and lately with people leaving the club it has been tough.
"It has really brought out the true characters in the squad and when your back is against the wall, you can either fall away or find something.
"I have been really impressed with Dafydd Jenkins recently, he has been Wales captain for a couple of years now, but he is still a young guy and these last few weeks, the way he has spoken has been impressive.
"We can have a good go next year. We don't want to be around the bottom of the table this season, but next season we want to be back up there.
"If we want to compete next season we need to beat the likes of Sale Sharks and Harlequins and they are our last two games, so it's a great test to push ourselves and set a stool for next season.
"These next few weeks are going to be big from this group, we have some clear things to go after and some sort of markers for next season."

PAUL BROWN-BAMPOE: WE HAVE BEEN HURTING A LOT
"We have been hurting a lot over the last couple of weeks," Brown-Bampoe told TNT Sports. "We have had to take a long hard look at ourselves, and I am just happy we got the result that we did, so very happy.
"In a season where wins have been hard to come by, we will take any win we can get, we are still growing and we have obviously had our setbacks.
"We are going to keep going and developing, this is just a stepping stone and the first start to what we hope will be a good end to the season.
"I thought we were quite peaceful at the break, we had our heads in the freezer. I think we conducted ourselves really well in that sticky period.
"Losing is a habit, like winning is a habit. Hopefully, today is the start of cultivating that habit, because it hurts to win, you have to put so much effort in."

CHIEFS TURN IT ON TO BOUNCE BACK FROM RECORD-BREAKING DEFEAT
Chiefs have had a troubled season which was capped off by a record-breaking 79-17 defeat to Gloucester Rugby at Kingsholm last time out.
Since that defeat, Chiefs have parted ways with head coach Rob Hunter, who only managed to take charge of four games since taking over from Ali Hepher in March.
However, Exeter bounced back against a heavily rotated Saints side to put a smile back on their supporters’ faces, beating Northampton 42-14 at Sandy Park.
The hosts scored four tries to pick up a much-needed bonus-point victory, just their fourth of the season.
Martin Money, Nick Skinner (2), Paul Brown-Bampoe (2) and a debut score from Nick Lilley ensured that the supporters inside Sandy Park had something to cheer about after a difficult few months.
The win was the Chiefs’ best result of the season, and it could not have come at a better time for Rob Baxter and his side.
Although the hosts were facing a young Saints side and the victory has not changed their league position, they will take a great deal of confidence from the way they played and the fluidity they showed during the second half.
Exeter now travel to Twickenham Stoop next weekend to face Harlequins, hoping to make it two wins from two.
