England fly-half George Ford extends Bath contract

England fly-half George Ford has extended his contract with Aviva Premiership club Bath.

Bath's announcement comes just three days after Ford kicked a match-winning touchline conversion to secure a 25-23 victory over European Champions Cup opponents Wasps.

He joined Bath from Leicester in 2013, and has so far amassed more than 630 points in 59 appearances.

The fly-half featured in England's disappointing group stage exit from the Rugby World Cup earlier this year.

The 22-year-old was controversially dropped for the critical 28-25 defeat to Wales, with Owen Farrell taking his place.
