PREM Rugby Cup 2026/27 to begin on TNT Sports as Bristol Bears take on Gloucester Rugby in September

Next season's PREM Rugby Cup will kick off with live action on TNT Sports and HBO Max, with Bristol Bears facing Gloucester Rugby in the opening Pool A fixture at Ashton Gate on Saturday, September 5.

The opening two rounds of the competition will be played before the Gallagher PREM season gets underway on September 25 - with live coverage of the league campaign also on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
PREM Rugby Cup action will whet the appetite as top-flight clubs begin their hunt for silverware.
Teams will be split into two pools of five, playing each other home and away.
Bristol are out to win the trophy for the first time ever, while Gloucester are looking for a second title, having won it in 2024.
Defending champions Leicester Tigers, who beat Exeter Chiefs to win the cup in March, begin their campaign away to Harlequins in Pool B on September 5.
The opening weekend of action also sees Saracens host PREM champions Northampton Saints, while Sale Sharks face Bath Rugby on Sunday, September 6.
Newcastle Red Bulls, after finishing bottom of the PREM table in 2025/26, begin their cup campaign in the second round of fixtures, away to Leicester Tigers.
Last season's runners-up Exeter Chiefs are also in action in Round 2, hosting Bristol at Sandy Park.
The final of the 2026/27 PREM Rugby Cup will be played on the weekend of March 13-15.
