Eddie Jones alleged he was "abused" by a fan at half-time during his Allianz Stadium return.
England ended a frustrating Autumn Nations Series on a high, dispatching Japan 59-14 on Sunday.
At full-time, Japan boss Eddie Jones, who was returning to the Allianz Stadium for the first time since being sacked by England in 2022, said he was confronted by a spectator at half-time.
Asked about his return to England's home ground, Jones said: "It wasn’t bad until some clown abused me going down at half-time. But if there is only one clown in 81,634, it’s not too bad.
"So it was good, mate. I’m disappointed with the result, but it is always good to come to the home of rugby. A fantastic atmosphere.
"He [the spectator] said something, obviously, but I’m not going to repeat it here because I’ll get into trouble."
In a widely reported statement, the RFU responded by saying: "No coaches, players or match officials should be abused for doing their job."
