Andrew Strawbridge has been permanently added to England's backroom staff, after a successful stint as assistant head coach during the Six Nations.
The 59-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been a consultant for the All Blacks' at the 2023 World Cup.
He has also held a number of positions in his native New Zealand, while helping the country's Under-20 side to two world titles.
"My brief stint with England at the front end of the Six Nations was a nourishing experience," he told England Rugby's official website. "I was impressed with the desire of the group to grow and compete.
"I am immensely proud to be involved in the England coaching group and look forward to playing a part in helping the team achieve its goals."
Strawbridge's first assignment will come in June, when Steve Borthwick's side face Japan, while they will also tour New Zealand this summer.
He comes in as a replacement for Kevin Sinfield, who has already announced his intention to depart as assistant manager following the July Tests.
He put in a strong audition for the role during the Six Nations, with Borthwick already praising the New Zealander's impact.
"Andrew made a huge impression during the time he spent with us at this year’s Six Nations,” the head coach.
"From the moment he walked into the environment, I was hugely impressed with his attention to detail, the clarity of his coaching philosophy and the different perspectives he has on the game.
"His extensive coaching experience in Super Rugby and the international arena, as well as his expertise in player development, complements our existing coaching group well.
"I’m excited that he’ll back with us as we prepare for the summer Tour to Japan and New Zealand.”
