Jey Uso believes "the time is now" to face his brother Jimmy and thinks a headline slot at April's WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia would make for the perfect setting. The sons of former WWE star Rikishi are eight-time tag-team champions but the pair have been embroiled in a feud since the middle of 2023. He later quit WWE but quickly returned, announcing a switch of brands from Smackdown to Raw.

Jey Uso reveals his 'Dream WrestleMania Match'

Jey Uso says it is still his dream to take on his brother Jimmy in a headline slot at WrestleMania 40 in April this year.
The Usos, who are the sons of WWE legend Rikishi, were formerly part of The Bloodline stable before a feud put them on a collision course.
Roman Reigns, the current WWE Universal Champion and WWE Champion, is the cousin of the Usos.
He is also the leader of The Bloodline but only retained that status after Jimmy turned on Jey at last year’s SummerSlam.
Jey has also been involved in a bitter fight with Sami Zayn, former honorary member of The Bloodline, but says facing off with his brother would take the drama to another level.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Jey said: “I feel like what would make mine and my brother’s angle different would obviously be the emotion part, right?

“The promo part of me and my brother, just us. Imagine the fire, imagine the emotion within me and him.
“If you saw it with Roman and you saw it with Sami, this would just be amplified 10 times more, so I'm excited and I'm ready just to deliver to the people.
“And I do want a main event and I mean main event WrestleMania with my twin brother in front of 100,000 people.
“Maybe I go night one and then Roman is night two, like we’re still running The Bloodline is what I'm saying.”
Jey pursued an American football career growing up but coming from a wrestling background, always harboured ambitions with his brother to one day follow in his father’s footsteps.
Asked if this is something he and Jimmy have spoken about since they were kids, Jey added: “Yeah, we were always - obviously it was just in the living room - wrestling, breaking coffee tables, putting holes in the wall. We were always physical together.
“But I think even as grown men being in this job and coming from a work point of view, even if we didn't ever think about that, I feel like time is now.
“We're just going to cross paths and it just feels right, it feels good. And I'm excited because it's in our reach.
“[It always felt like] such a long shot but right now we could really do this in Philadelphia in a couple months.

“I'm just excited about what the possibilities are. Even as a fan I'm excited.”
And will there be a special appearance made by Rikishi?
“Of course, maybe special referee,” Jey continued.
“I don't know about that hot tag. You know what, I take that back. I think Pops has got one more little run in him.”
Before all that, though, comes the highly anticipated Royal Rumble on January 27, live on TNT Sports.
Reigns will put his WWE Universal Champion title on the line in a fatal four-way match with Randy Orton, AJ Styles and LA Knight, while United States Champion Logan Paul defends his belt against Ken Owens
The likes of Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will also be in action in the 30-man last-man-standing event, with Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Bayley and Bianca Belair set to be part of the women’s Royal Rumble match.
