The Winter Olympics 2026 continues in Milano Cortina on Monday with seven more gold medals up for grabs. One of the highlights of Day 10 will be Great Britain’s Dave Ryding’s farewell in the men’s slalom while Kirsty Muir comes fourth in the Big Air final

LIFE BEGINS AT 41
What an event the monobob proved to be. And it was a great win for Elana Meyers Taylor who finally claimed an Olympic gold medal at the age of 41.
Meyers Taylor had won three silver and two bronze medals in her previous four Olympic appearances and looked set for another minor medal until the final seconds of a nerve-shredding contest.

GOLD FOR JAPAN!
It comes down to the final pair in the figure skating. Can the German duo of Minerva Hase and Nikita Volodin get among the medals? A slight misstep early on seems to rule out Gold but they do enough for a bronze medal, as Georgia celebrate a silver and Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan are Olympic champions!
They score 231.24 to win by 10 clear points...

Kirsty Muir to TNT Sports: "I'm a bit up and down at the moment. I put it all out there so I am proud of that.
"I gave it my all and I am taking that with me. It's bittersweet but I came into the competition just feeling grateful and I still feel that."

Coming fourth twice in the same Olympics is brutal for Kirsty Muir.
Aimee Fuller in the studio was full of praise for her efforts though.
She said: "A total masterclass from Kirsty Muir. She came for redemption and she held nothing back. She attacked the event and wasn't here for fourth place. She will be absolutely devastated."
