There was a truly wild moment during the second Free Practice at the MotoGP Grand Prix of Spain on Saturday when championship leader Jorge Martin's visor flew off when he was on the track. Thankfully, Martin was able to cope with the situation and ease himself back to the pits but it was intense to watch the Spaniard react as the elements suddenly flew at his eyes with no protection.

'It never looks great, does it?' - Visor flies off Martin's helmet at high speed!

MotoGP never fails to throw up a few surprises, even during practice sessions, and there was certainly a wild moment on Saturday in Spain.
During FP2, home favourite and championship leader Jorge Martin was on the track when suddenly his visor became unattached to the helmet and flew off.
Unsurprisingly given the speed he was going at, Martin had to immediately slow down and shield his eye from the wind that was suddenly hitting them.
On commentary for TNT Sports, Gavin Emmett said: "That doesn't look great, does it?"
Alongside him, Neil Hodgson replied: "That's not a failure [though], is it?"
Emmett said: "No, that's just one of those things where it hasn't been clipped in at the side."
Hodgson agreed, adding: "That's human error basically, that's not an issue with the helmet."
Emmett pointed out: "We know the Alpinestars [motorcycling gear specialists] people down there and they'll be thinking 'it just never looks great, does it'."
Hodgson doubled down on his point, saying: "Yeah but 100% that's human error."
Fortunately, Martin was able to get back to the pits safely and get a new visor, or even a new helmet, and was quickly back on track.
Martin has been in stellar form this season, winning in Portugal to go along with a third in Qatar and a fourth in America last time out.
He currently sits top of the standings on 80 points, 21 points ahead of Enea Bastianini and 24 ahead of Maverick Vinales, who triumphed in Austin.
