'I WANT TO THANK KTM' - ACOSTA
Pedro Acosta had to work hard in Indonesia, claiming second position after some brave defending.
Reflecting on his performance, he said: "I mean, we know our bike was struggling; we were super slow in sector two the whole weekend, and they made the difference there. We have to be happy to be on the podium, and there have been many good races this year where we have had a good rhythm, maybe not for the win, but to be consistently inside the podium.
"I want to thank KTM, my crew chief, my mechanics and all the guys like Dani and Pol who will be watching this on TV. We have to improve, but we are not that far like we were at the beginning of the year!"

Overtaking is so difficult, but P3, I'm happy and congratulations to my teammate Fermin, who had an amazing weekend and race. For us, it is really important to be on the podium in Mandalika

ACOSTA DEFENDS AS 14 RIDERS REMAIN
Marini launched another attack on Lap 12, with Raul Fernandez trying to follow the No. 10 through. However, Pedro Acosta would brave things out at the final corner, leading to the perfect response – it’s incredible riding from the pair.

THE ROOKIE LEADS

Now it’s Aldeguer from Acosta with Luca Marini remaining in third.

It’s a four-bike train at the head of the field as tension begins to brew for an incredible fight.
