THE RETURN OF THE ‘SACHSENKING’
Marc Marquez has charged to victory in Germany, reclaiming his throne and becoming the Sachsenring King once more. It was a dominant display, with the #93 crossing the line with a 6.380s advantage over his brother Alex Marquez.
It was a historic day for the brother pairing, who started their 100th and 200th MotoGP Races respectively. But now with a one-two, it was a fairytale ending to a result which seemed to be written in the stars.
As the celebrations begin, Francesco Bagnaia will go back to the drawing board – salvaging another third place. However, it is still further points lost to his two rivals as he crossed the line comfortably ahead of Quartararo and Aldeguer.
It was a Grand Prix full of attrition, with only 10 riders crossing the line to secure World Championship points on Sunday. Jack Miller, Raul Fernandez and Alex Rins took the final spots inside the top 10.
Further back, it was a tricky Grand Prix for many, thanks to a tricky Turn 1, with Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi crashing out of second position throughout the Race.
Now, teams and riders will gear up for Round 12 of the season as the MotoGP World Championship returns to the iconic Automotodrom Brno.

After securing another victory at the Sachsenring, Marc Marquez gave his initial thoughts following a dramatic Grand Prix!
"Of course, it is super special, and from the beginning, I felt super good. The confidence ahead of the weekend was super high because we are coming from three victories in a row, and now this is the fourth one, and we are in an incredible moment.
Now we can say the first part of the season is done, and now there is still half the season left, and we need to remain concentrated. But apart from that, Danke Sachsenring!"

"FOR BORJA" – ALEX MARQUEZ
Following a difficult Assen, Alex Marquez bounced back in Germany and gave his thoughts following the Grand Prix.
"I gave it my 100%, I tried to give it my 100% and also I was a little lucky because riders in front of me crashed. But this is racing, you need to be there, and today it was important to survive, so I am really happy, and it is unbelievable to be here.
"I want to thank all the guys and all the people who have helped me be here, the doctors, the physios and everyone who has helped me be here.
"This is also for Borja."

"TURN 1 WAS VERY TRICKY" – BAGNAIA
Following another podium, Francesco Bagnaia gave his thoughts on another third-place finish in 2025.
"It was very tough, conditions were much better than yesterday, but Turn 1 was very tricky as every time you entered with some braking pressure, it was tricky. But we managed to finish third again.
"This year, it doesn’t seem to matter if I start at the front or back; I finish inside the top three always. I just wanted to say thanks to the team who give their maximum always, and we need to keep the positives and improve for Brno."

DARK CLOUDS CONTINUE TO LOOM
The lead gap is now over two seconds, with Marc Marquez putting down the hammer at the front of the field. It’s a venue where the #93 has had so much success in the past, so you have to wonder if Di Giannantonio is currently playing the long game, trying to save his tyres.

MARC MARQUEZ IN CONTROL
The gap at the front of the field has slowly come down, with Fabio Di Giannantonio closing Marc Marquez’s lead to 1.2 seconds. However, the #93 didn’t take long to respond, soon stretching it to 1.5 seconds in just half a lap.
Currently, things look in control at the head of the field, but as we have seen in 2025, anything can happen!

Marini is just one of the riders in this intense fight in the mid pack, with Brad Binder and Jack Miller ahead of the Honda rider.
8/30
BAGNAIA AND ALEX MARQUEZ PUSH
