Thanks for joining us here on Eurosport for the German Moto GP, it was a great race and well won by Dani Pedrosa

-

Cal Crutchlow will be disappointed with his fourteenth finish

-

Then came Dovizioso, Spies and Simoncelli, Bautista managed to hold off Hayden and Rossi to win their mini battle as well

-

So Pedrosa takes it ahead of Lorenzo and then Stoner in third

-

Spies looked like he'd darted past Simoncelli and into fifth as well, brilliant stuff

-

Lorenzo tried an aggresive move to get past Stoner and it pays off, he's into second

-

Pedrosa looks like he's going to get it as he begins the last lap, a great penultimate lap has sorted him out

-

Last two laps left now and Pedrosa had a significant lead but Stoner is closing it down a bit

-

The Italians in fourth and fifth swap places again, and Ben Spies is coming in to join them in the fight

-

Just five laps to go now and Pedrosa is 0.613 ahead from second place Stoner

-

Simoncelli and Dovizioso are still in there own presonal little battle that the former is winning for now

-

Stoner is driving like a man posessd to get past Lorenzo and it eventually pays off, getting round the inside before the long left-hand turn

-

Pedrosa stretches his lead out at the front

-

Stoner smelling blood now and is pushing up on Lorenzo but the Spaniard is holding him off for now

-

And there goes Pedrosa, Lorenzo with a mistake crossing the start/finish line as the front wheel comes up a bit and slows him down, Pedrosa into first

-

Pedrosa has moved well away from Stoner now and is on the tail of Lorenzo

-

Great action in the mid-field as Rossi does for Hayden on the inside but then can't capitalise as they get round the apex and then loses out to Hayden and Bautista who regains ninth place

-

Rossi heads down the inside of Bautista and now has Hayden in his sights in seventh

-

Simoncelli has a wobble on a left-hand turn and it costs him fourth spot as Dovizioso capitalises

-

Past the half-way point now and only 13 laps to go and Lorenzo is looking good out front, possibly the biggest lead of the race so far has been created

-

The start/finish line is where most of the overtaking is being done, nipping on the inside over the straight just in time for the right hand turn, just as Pedrosa did to Stoner

-

The front three are out away from the next two now, Stoner has dropped right off Lorenzo now as well and Pedrosa fancies second place, and there he goes to claim it

-

There goes Lorenzo as he squeezed through the tiniest of gaps to ahead of Stoner and into first

-

Simoncelli and Dovizioso having a great battle for fourth place, Simoncelli darted past him but Dovizioso tried to get past him on the straight through the starting line but couldn't quite manage it and Simoncelli takes fourth

-

Lorenzo is pushing hard now behind Stoner and is right on his tail, he can't quite get close enough to find the inside line though

-

Bautista having a go at the inside of Hayden but he can't quite make up the distance and he stays in eighth place

-

Rossi moves into ninth comfortably sliding down the inside of Edwards

-

21 laps to go now and Stoner is looking confident leading from the front, Lorenzo is in behind him and his main worry is fending off Pedrosa rather than gaining on Stoner

-

Pedrosa skips past Dovizioso on the inside of the first corner, there wasn't a lot of room but he executed it perfectly

-

Bautista leads the following pack ahead of Hayden, but they are some way off the group they are trying to catch

-

Simoncelli joining in with the leading four now whereas Spies is dropping off them a bit more now

-

Further down the field Valentino Rossi has dragged himself up to tenth spot and is looking to close in on Colin Edwards just ahead of him

-

It really is a front four with Simoncelli and Spies just behind them ready to pounce on any mistakes

-

Stoner back to where he started as he nips down the inside of Lorenzo and then the American burst away from him up the hill

-

It's Ben Spies behind the three Hondas but he doesn't look like challenging them just yet

-

Stoner has a look up the inside and does go past Pedrosa and then goes past Doviziosa

-

Lorenzo has opened up a noticeable lead but the three Hondas are a closely knit chasing pack

-

Dovizioso has made a cracking start to this race as he darts on the inside of Pedrosa and into second

-

As they come round the end of lap one Lorenzo in first ahead of Pedrosa and then Dovizioso in third

-

Lorenzo dives through the middle of the two hondas and into first place

-

Lorenzo with an equally good start and Stoner is back into third already

-

And they're off, Pedrosa with a cracking start straight into the lead

-

They're off out for their warm up lap, Jorge Lorenzo stalling his bike and needing a push start, not the perfect start
