Yamaha one-two as Dovizioso confirms with 1'35"296 and Crutchlow just .040 behind. Stoner down to 11th behind De Puniet in 10th.

Stoner is only getting better! 1'37"443 puts him over two full seconds ahead of Abraham.

Pasini has the slicks on and is fifth with a time of 1'43"540.

Now Rossi move within .208 of Bradl. Standings looking a little upside down but still half hour plus change remaining.

Hayden poles on his tenth lap! 1'43"656 puts him a fifth of a second ahead of Dovizioso as Stoner pits. Rossi back out, as are Bradl Silva and Barbera.

Dovizioso clocks 1'44"488 for second, Hayden .179 behind in third. The American on the harder Bridgestone tyres.

Dovizioso joins Hayden and Stoner on track. Hayden 10th, the Italian seventh.

Stoner goes from 19th to pole! Softer compounds take the Aussie to the lead on 1'44"793'

Stoner is back out, best time 1'49"992 so far.

Hayden is out with a harder wet front. Track continuing to dry. Looks like a few other competitors will follow suit on hard.

Crutchlow's best improved to 1'45"156.

Only nine riders out at the moment. Casey Stoner looks moments away from a return, may be coming out on slicks.

Ben Spies 10th, Rossi half a second behind Crutchlow in third.

Crutchlow leads Pedrosa by .007. Damp patches remain but looking otherwise dry now.

Crutchlow and Rossi step it up, going one-two (1'45"835 from the Brit).

Session beginning to dry out as Lorenzo goes to 1'48"029, while compatriot Bautista moves ahead with 1'47"536.

1'48"144 for the Yamaha rider with Crutchlow, Dovizioso and Pedrosa also inside the 1'50 mark.

Lorenzo with a time of 1'50"804 to top the times after two laps and he is looking set to better that once again...

This is a Honda circuit, so one would expect them to have an easier time out there - though their confidence levels are not what they used to be.
