Michael Page secured his third unanimous decision victory in a row at UFC London. MVP came out on top on all three of the judges' scorecards at the O2 Arena in London to defeat Sam Patterson but an uneventful fight did not go down well with fans. "Obviously you hear the crowd," Page said. "I see it as them having an expectation of me, in the same way I have, in fact, more of myself."

Michael 'Venom' Page insists he was not swayed by boos from the crowd during his attritional decision victory over Sam Patterson at UFC London.
MVP's welterweight clash went the distance, with the 38-year-old coming out on top on all three of the judges' scorecards, 30–27, 29–28, 29–28.
However, boos were heard from sections of the crowd at the O2 Arena in London.
Page says he was not inspired to take risks by the crowd response but admitted that he did not do enough to get the knockout on the night.
"Nah it doesn't [bother him]," he added. "Again, I am very present, I know what is going on.
"There is not enough engagement here. I feel frustrated with myself.

"When they boo, it just reinforces what is going on in front of me. It doesn't change anything.
"It did not make me want to be too reckless, but it did kind of encourage me to figure something out. I just did not do enough."
Movsar Evloev defeated Lerone Murphy via majority decision in the main event, with Luke Riley securing a win in the same circumstances against Michael Aswell Jr.
Page has now secured three unanimous decision wins in a row since his defeat against Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024.
And he believes he is too experienced to be swayed by the crowd response.
"Obviously you hear the crowd," he said. "I see it as them having an expectation of me, in the same way I have, in fact, more of myself.
"When I am not delivering out there in a frustrating fight, I understand why the boos are there. It doesn't change anything for me, I am too experienced to be swayed by the crowd, but I expect a lot from myself.

"I'm frustrated, and I am disappointed by that performance. Obviously I am happy with the win, but I always want to do more."
Page accused Patterson of running at points, making it difficult for him to lay any traps.
"100%, set more traps," he added. "I was expecting him to be on the back foot, but not running, just being on the back foot.
"So I had a few traps but the constant moving made it difficult to really find anything. I needed to figure out a way to slow him down, still land shots and then when he settled, still find something from there. I just did not do enough."
Dana White said that it was from a classic after the event. "I don’t think it was a good fight," the UFC chief said. "It was a bad fight but he won so we’ll see what’s next."
