A DREADFUL NIGHT FOR TWO OF UK'S BIGGEST STARS
Leon Edwards was dominated throughout the contest against Sean Brady, being unable to handle his grappling skills, and after making the Birmingham fighter tap in the fourth round, the Philadelphia is sure to be now given the No. 1 welterweight contender position the former champion previously held.

Molly McCann's defeat was even more dramatic as Brazilian Alexia Thainara made her submit in the first round of her encounter, leading the popular Liverpudlian 'Meatball' to announce her retirement.
Speaking to TNT Sports afterwards, McCann admitted she was no longer good enough to compete with elite competition in the UFC.

There was something for home fans to cheer though, in the performance of Londonder Lone'er Kavanagh who defeated Felipe dos Santos in a brutal flyweight three-rounder to extend his unbeaten start to his career to nine.

I BELONG AT THE TOP - BRADY
Sean Brady revels in his victory at UFC Fight Night London.
BRADY SUBMITS EDWARDS IN ROUND 4!
"This is your round! Finish him!"
They are the instructions from the Brady corner and he comes out aggressively throwing right hands and then taking down Edwards in the first minute.
After manoeuvring on the ground, Brady locks in a single-arm guillotine and Edwards taps out. A massive win for Brady and you wonder where Edwards goes from here.
EDWARDS-BRADY: ROUND 3
Edwards lands a couple of good strikes and an elbow early before trying a takedown which puts his neck in Brady's hands. And Brady took him down straight afterwards and after attempting a guillotine, the American settles for landing repeated heavy blows on the Brummie's ears. The rest of the round sees Edwards attempting to adjust and each time Brady retained control. A hell of a lot of shots to take for Edwards in this round. It feels like the fight is draining out of Edwards as the round ends with both men exhausted on their backs. A terrible round for the former champion. It would be a remarkable turnaround from here.
EDWARDS-BRADY: ROUND 2
Edwards is warned prior to the round, presumably due to eye pokes, and then immediately Brady charges him forcing him against the Octagon and then bringing Edwards to the mat and getting position on his back. Brady has control on the mat landing elbows and punches and although Edwards rolls out, the American resumes control and locks in a kimora. Good defence from Edwards but he has to withstand hammer fists and elbows in the last minute.
EDWARDS-BRADY: ROUND 1
Brady comes out swinging but Edwards evades the danger and ties up as Brady attempts takedowns. When at a distance, Edwards lands clean strikes and knees. In the final minute or so, Brady takes Edwards to the side of the Octagon and tries to fashion a take down but Edwards avoids these, before being tripped in the final 20 seconds. That might be enough to give Brady the round.
WE ARE UNDERWAY...
No touch of gloves...
THE MAIN EVENT IS NEXT...
Leon Edwards is on a mission for redemption. But Sean Brady is the furthest thing from an easy fight to get your career back on track.
ULBERG WINS UNANIMOUS DECISION!
He takes the fight on all three cards 29-28. The crowd boo but it is hard to argue too vociferously. He is now eight fights unbeaten.
BLACHOWICZ-ULBERG: ROUND 3
Few strikes land early, but Blachowicz continued to land his painful leg kicks. Both respond when the other land good strikes in the middle of the round. Ulberg's shots were the cleaner and was more active as the fight approached the final minute. Blachowicz's eye is red from Ulberg's jabs but right before the buzzer the Pole lands a big left hook and kick which wobble the New Zealnder. A tough fight to call.
BLACHOWICZ-ULBERG: ROUND 2
It takes a while but exchanges start middway through the round, a good counter left hook from Ulberg and then both land right hands and the Kiwi adds a high knee. Striking they are comparable and Ulberg getting the slight better in the second, but Blachowicz's kicks are a different level of pain, with the sound echoing though the arena. A nice couple of jabs at the end of the round from the Pole. Shame this isn't a five rounder really.
BLACHOWICZ-ULBERG: ROUND 1
Ulberg looks the quicker as you might expect, dancing around his opponent but both wary of each other's power early on. Blachowicz's leg kicks see Ulberg wince, he knows he's not in a contest with a normal 42-year-od coming off two surgeries. Not so much 'Polish Power' but the timing of his kicks are superior and he avoids the Kiwi's right hands. Not a great deal of action but pressing the fight and landing more kicks, this was the Poles's round.
CROWD ARE WITH THE POLE!
Ulberg comes into the arena with some boos and Blachowicz walks in blowing his cheeks in satisfaction as if returning home.
CO-MAIN EVENT NEXT...
Former light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz (29-10-1) says he has his 'Polish Power' is back after surgery and he will need it against explosive New Zealander Carlos Ulberg (12-1). Could be a classic this one.

NELSON-HOLLAND: ROUND 3
Nelson has Holland down on the mat but again can't launch ground and pound and due to the long-armed defence. Holland then lands kicks on the ground to the crown of Nelson's head but the Icelandic fighter eventually lands a big right hand and locks in a choke hold with two minutes remaining in the contest. Holland keeps his arm inside one of Nelson's though and eventually battles his way to his feet. Holland connects with a couple of knees with the second hurting Nelson. Holland with over 100 more strikes, mostly from defensive positions. Holland goes down to the mat once more just before the buzzer. A great fight.
NELSON-HOLLAND: ROUND 2
Holland came out from his corner on fire launching shots with either hand hoping to capitalise on the end of the previous round. Nelson rides that storm and after struggling to get the better of a grapple gets Holland down to the mat in the second half of the round. Again, Holland is so hard to take advantage of when on his back with his fine guard, spider legs and elbows. How much credit do you give Nelson for the takedown and being on top of Holland on the mat when he didn't land much thereafer or have his opponent in danger?
NELSON-HOLLAND: ROUND 1
Wow! What a show of strength from Nelson. He lifts Holland with one arm and smiles to the crowd before putting his opponent down to the mat. Holland looks to locks his long legs around the Icelandic fighter threatening a submission and defending the 'can opener' while stopping Nelson from landing much ground an pound. Holland gets back to his feet and lands a hellacious right hand which sends Nelson to the mat and follows up with brutal shots with his opponent on the floor and if the round had gone on another few seconds we would have had a stoppage.
GUNNAR AGAINST HOLLAND...
The Trailblazer from Texas Kevin Holland (26-13) takes on popular Icelandic fighter Gunnar Nelson (19-5-1).
MCCANN ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT
"Losing to a fighter on a week's notice, it's not good enough, I'm not going to carry on for the pay days," McCann told the crowd.
"If you ever need an ambassador to go around Europe, I'm good on the ale and can talk."
As she left her gloves in the middle of the Octagon, Paddy Pimblett had tears in his eyes and he wasn't the only one.
THAINARA MAKES MCCANN TAP IN ROUND 1
Thainara takes McCann down to boos from the crowd but the Meatball lands some big elbows from her back, though has to take some shots from the Brazilian too. McCann kicks her opponent away but Thainara turns her on the mat and locks in a choke hold. McCann makes an Herculian effort to fight off for a long time but eventually she has to tap out.
PIMBLETT AT RINGSIDE CHEERING ON HIS TEAMMATE
Thainarea (11-1) is the favourite against McCann (14-7) so this is a hell of a test for Meatball make no mistake.
SOME ENTRANCE FROM THAINARA
I'm gonna say they'll be no better dancer on the way to the Octagon. She took the fight on eight days' notice. She comes into this fight with full confidence after her success on the Contender Series.
IT WAS ALL GOING SO WELL...
Then they have to play Sweet Caroline. Leave this for boxing...
MOLLY MCCANN IS UP NEXT...
It is always an event when the Meatball enters the Octagon. She takes on Alexia Thainara.

DUNCAN MAKES VUCENIC TAP!
Both exchange right hands and Duncan tries to get another takedown but Vucenic avoids this and gets the better of the stand up but midway through the round telegraphs a leg takedown and Duncan locks in a front headlock. Back to their feet, Vucenic catches Duncan's leg and tries to slam the Scot to the mat but Duncan locks in a guillotine and makes the Englishman tap!
VUCENIC-DUNCAN: ROUND 1
Duncan goes down after a kick is followed by a big right hand and the Scot immediately looks to go for the submission. Realising this wasn't an immediate option, Duncan lands a couple of big elbows and then gets position on Vucenic's back and lands painful knees before slamming the Corby fighter back down. A big round for Duncan.
ENGLAND V SCOTLAND NEXT
Jordan Vucenic (13-3) of Corby, England takes on Scot Chris Duncan (12-2) in a lightweight contest.

WOOD WINS UNANIMOUS DECISION!
He is given the fight 30-27 on all three cards. I thought it was closer than that.
WOOD-CHARRIERE: ROUND 3
Wood stalking Charriere but struggling to cut him off and landing less. Charriere landed a little more in a low-tempo round, but there was a good double jab from Wood with a minute remaining and another in the closing stages. Just before the buzzer Charriere landed a right elbow in close, but also took a shot himself. Maybe Wood gets the verdict here.
WOOD-CHARRIERE: ROUND 2
Charriere just cannot handle Wood's incredible hand speed when he gets in range he can land left hooks and right hand combinations. The Frenchman regained to his composure by the middle of the round and both evaded jabs and landed leg kicks, though Charriere briefly trips trying to land another. He landed a knee to the sternum and big left elbow to the side of the head. Charriere recorded a take down and then when they got up he landed another elbow. The Frenchman may have nicked that.
WOOD-CHARRIERE: ROUND 1
Wood knocks Charriere down with the right hand of the night 70 seconds into the fight and the crowd goes crazy! The Frenchman locks his opponent's arms and locks his head underneath his opponent to give himself some rest-bite. Wood tries to lock in a guillotine but Charriere pushes his shoulder through and is on top of the Englishman but has to take some elbows on the top of his head before the end of the round.
ENGLAND V FRANCE UP NOW
Nathaniel Wood takes on 'The Last Pirate' Morgan Charriere.
THE MAIN CARD IS NEXT...
We are now live on TNT Sports 1 - and of course
discovery+ - as we build up to the main event between Leon Edwards and Sean Brady.
BANNON ON NEXT PLANS
'Mama B' Shauna Bannon wants to have regular fights as she looks to build on her dramatic victory over Puja Tomar at UFC Fight Night London.
"I would love to fight another three times this year, starting this summer, September and December," Bannon told TNT Sports.
"That would be the dream for me because I think like I would welcome momentum.
"My first 12 professional fights, were in the space of 5 months. When I done kickboxing I was competing every other weekend.
"I prefer to keep going and stay active."
BANNON ON RECOVERING FROM MASSIVE KICK
"I was just thinking, whatever it takes, like I knew I got dropped and I was on my back, but I'm quite comfortable on my back," Bannon told TNT Sports.
"I've spent hours there in jujitsu drills, and armbar is my thing - so when I had the arm where she wasn't tapping, I could feel it in her, she was kind of giving up."
Stunning turnaround as Bannon recovers from devastating kick to submit Tomar

PADILLA WINS SPLIT DECISION
He stretches his win streak to six, but that doesn't feel the way you should be rewarded with victory away from home.
HERBERT-PADILLA: ROUND 3
It is such a hard fight to call but you feel Herbert should get the benefit of the doubt with the way he is trying to force the fight. His corner are happy in the first half of the round as he moves in and out and lands his strikes, especially his left and a fair few rights too. He adds in a knee which oopened an enormous cut above Padilla's eye, following it up with a right and, although the American lands a shot of his own, he looks on wobbly feet as the round comes to an end.
HERBERT-PADILLA: ROUND 2
The fans not feeling this fight, it is tough following Kavanagh's thriller. Padilla holding Herbert against the fence for most of the round. Herbert briefly took Padilla down with a hip toss which, although they both get back to their feet, at least loosens the shackles. Padilla is complaining about near low blows and Herbert seems to land the better shots, but the American grabs his leg and takes him back to the edge. Boos ring out at the end of it.
HERBERT-PADILLA: ROUND 1
Any fight would feel a bit of a letdown after the last one...but Herbert does well landing leg kicks and controlling the fight with his feet. Amusing moment when Padilla holds his nether regions to indicate a low blow. As the round goes on Padilla slows him down holding him against the fence.
HERBERT-PADILLA UP NEXT
Jai Herbert (13-5-1) is a fan favourite in the O2, and he takes on American Chris Padilla (15-6).
KAVANAGH WINS UNANIMOUS DECISION!
He takes the fight 29-28 on all three scorecards.
KAVANAGH-DOS SANTOS: ROUND 3
Kavanagh lands a big head kick early on and has the edge in the stand up. Kavanagh brings Dos Santos to the floor with a double-leg takedown - his third of the contest. Dos Santos is warned for up kicks, then after he gets up to his feet, Kavanagh scoops him up and slams him to the canvas. Dos Santos is warned for elbowing the spine. As they get up Kavanagh lands a knee and dos Santos a right hand. The Brazilian stalks Kavanagh in the closing stages but the Brit eludes two attempted head kicks and lands a couple of big left hooks. He should edge this.
KAVANAGH-DOS SANTOS: ROUND 2
A good start from Kavanagh with big right hand and calf kick and then after dos Santos forces him against the Octagon, he spins the Brazilian and lands brutal right and left hands which see the visiting fighter fall to the floor. Kavanagh contineus to land and recognises the Sao Paolo man trying to lockin in a guillotine. Dos Santos lands a acouple of big shots with his back on the mat but Kavangh lands more before they get to their feet but Kavanagh keeps control of his back and throws him back down. Dos Santos is still aggressive landing big elbows from the back, just incredible blows from both men. They grapple and slip to the canvas, with Kavanagh in control again. A fantastic round, especially for Kavanagh.
KAVANAGH-DOS SANTOS: ROUND 1
Kavangh gets tagged with a big right in the first minute and Kavanagh is forced to hold on with his back to the Octagon. Kavanagh with a couple of good kicks almost sweeping dos Santos' legs but the Brazilian responds with a good kick to the mid section. Kavanagh just misses a left hook in close and has to eat a couple of spinning elbows opening up a big cut on the left hand side of the Londoner's head. He does well to turn a dos Santos takedown and land on top as they fall to the mat - but this was the Brazilian's round.
POTENTIAL FIGHT OF THE NIGHT NEXT...
Londoner Lone'er Kavanagh takes on Felipe dos Santos. Kavanagh has excited UFC fans around the world but faces a real test in the Brazilian here.
UNANIMOUS WIN FOR TYBURA
He takes the fight 29-28 on all three cards. That may well be a learning fight for Parkin and one he can come back from an improved fighter.
TYBURA-PARKIN: ROUND 3
Parkin starts with a nice shot early in the round but Tybura lands flush with a straight left which Parkin takes well. Tybura begins to throw combinations landing on Parkin. He forces the Brit back but Parkin stops his momentum with a solid right of his own. Tybura has the more variety mixing up with shots to the body. Tybura tied a takedown at the end lifting up a leg but taking right hands in the process. It feels Tybura landed more and with better quality for the most part. I fear for Parkin though he won the second round by a mile, Parkin may have sneaked the first and last and in combat sports that can be enough.
TYBURA-PARKIN: ROUND 2
Tybura lands a good left hand but then Parkin caught an attempted kick and took him to the ground. Parkin tried to lock in a crucifix before landing some shots with his opponent on the mat and repeated ahammer shots have the crowd roaring, though his experienced opponent blocked a fair few of them. Tybura grabs Parkin's heel and tries to lock him in but Parkin escapes. A good shot from Tybura helps him get back to his feet. Both seem gassed but Parkin lands a couple of strikes flush on the Pole and forces him back down with a minute remaining. A big round for the Brit.
TYBURA-PARKIN: ROUND 1
Almost mirrior images of each other with Tybura the southpaw and both land a couple of clean shots and kicks early in the round. Tybura looks to work the body with kicks and gets a waistlock on Parkin and forces him against the Octagon but the Brit escapes and lands a couple of strikes with his opponent's back against the cage. In the closing stages Tybura takes Parkin down which probably secures him the round.
PARKIN TAKES ON VETERAN TYBURA
A big test for Sunderland's Mick Parkin (10-0) as he takes on #8-rated heavy Marcin Tybura. He trains with Tom Aspinall and is looking to follow him to the top.
DUNCAN BEATS PULYAEV ON POINTS!
Another fairly straight forward decision with Duncan winning 30-27 (twice) and 30-26 on the judges' scorecards.
DUNCAN-PULYAEV: ROUND 3
Pulyaev locks Duncan up and lands a couple of knees in close but it is too late to try to wear down his opponent and CLD reverses posiiton anyway. After more grappling, CLD launched a big knee and almost connecting with a flying knee afterwards. An unsatisfying bout until the last 15 seconds when Duncan landed elbows to loosen the Russian's grip before uppercuts and right hands to have Pulyaev stumbling and though the Brit followed him across the mat the buzzer came to his opponent's rescue.
DUNCAN-PULYAEV: ROUND 2
Not too much quality action in the round. A nice spinning kick is landed by Duncan and he took one back in return. Pulyaev generally moving backwards but not in straight lines making it harder for CLD to land, but he does just that with a spinning elbow and then a right in close which see the Russian's feet lose their bearing for a moment.
DUNCAN-PULYAEV: ROUND 1
Duncan launches a great spinning left fist and backs it up with a couple of strikes, before the Russian locks him up with his back against the cage. Pulyaev with a nice body kick and jab afterwards but Duncan probably nicks a quiet round.
EDWARDS STABLEMATE DUNCAN IN ACTION NEXT
Christian Leroy Duncan (10-2) is up against tough Russian Andrey Pulyaev (9-2) in a middleweight bout.
MAMA B WANTS THAT BONUS!
"Tell me that's not a 50 grand bonus," Bannon said on TNT Sports.
"Whatever it took I was going to win. I got dropped and I then got the win."
BANNON SUBMITS TOMAR!
The fight was a little underwheleming for the first couple of minutes before Tomar launched the head kick from hell which looked like it might have knocked Bannon out. But Mama B after eating some ground and pound, Bannon locked in an arm bar and after Tomar initially managed to lift herself and her opponent up, the Irish fighter brought her opponent back to ground and made her tap.
BANNON-TOMAR: ROUND 1
Bannon controlling action in first round with her educated feet landing a number into Tomar's belly and legs. A side kick to Tomar's face brought a 'Woah' from the crowd. Tomar was warned for a kick to the groin and then came out from the break swinging, landing a couple of big right hands.
BANNON-TOMAR UP NEXT
Rising Irish star Mama B Shauna Bannon (6-1) takes on Indian 'Cyclone' Puja Tomar (9-4) next.
LOUGHRAN WINS SPLIT DECISION!
An unpopular decision in the house. Loughran took the contest 29-28 on two cards with one scored 29-28 the other way.
FLETCHER-LOUGHRAN: ROUND 3
Loughran takes Fletcher down early, but his opponent rolls him over to get loose. But Loughran forced him down and then jumped on Fletcher's back and cranked down on his opponent's head. Loughran then had control but not doing a great deal for the next three minutes before Fletcher landed big knees and rights and elbows while preventing Loughran from doing the same. An incredible spinning right fist opened up a big cut above Loughran's right eye near the end. I think Fletcher stole it in the last 40 seconds!
FLETCHER-LOUGHRAN: ROUND 2
Fletcher held Loughran against the Octagon and landed a ccouple of knees and then jumped on his back and tried to apply a choke hold. Fletcher then hammered in shots to body while in control of his opponent's back for almost three and a half minutes. Loughran looked to swing for the fences then but Fletcher could see the shots coming and landed a knee before Loughran forced him into the Octagon. We are probably even going into the last.
FLETCHER-LOUGHRAN: ROUND 1
Loughan looking to be the busier, while Fletcher loose and comfortable. Loughran lan ds a right body-left hook upstairs combination, but Fletcher lands some painful kicks to the Irishman's calf. Loughran took Fletcher down twice and though the Liverpool fighter protected himself and got back to his feet, Loughran landed a right upstairs when they got back to their feet. With Loughran leaning on him against the cage, Fletcher rolled round to get advantage on the floor, though Loughran once more took him down on the buzzer. A well-matched contest.
PADDY PIMBLETT IS RINGSIDE
He is cheering on his stablemate Fletcher, who is the slight betting favourite.
ENGLAND-IRELAND BATTLE NEXT
Nathan Fletcher (9-1) and Caolan Loughran (9-2) meet in a bantamweight contest. They met as amateurs in 2018 and Fletcher got his arm raised. They now train in rivals gyms in Liverpool. This will be personal...
FERNANDES WINS UNANIMOUS DECISION
The easiest decision the judges will have all night, as they all award it to the Brazilian 30-27.
KUTATELADZE-FERNANDES: ROUND 3
Almost a 3/1 underdog here Fernandes has put in a statement performance. As the fight has gone on he has increasingly landed uppercuts and added in some knee lifts too. Taking no risks in the third, he still controlled the bout from range and made his dangerous opponent appear impotent. He sent Kutateladze back to the floor by kicking the other leg. You don't often see that. In the end, Kutateladze does well to last the three, but a fantastic display from the Brazilian.
KUTATELADZE-FERNANDES: ROUND 2
Fernandes puts his opponent down with a kick to the left leg and after some ground and pound he tells his opponent to get up. Kutateladze is on borrowed time, gimpy on his left leg and then having his right battered too. His torso also feels Fernandes' right foot too. Another 'Hollywood' Kutateladze shot from range is met by a right hand which almost sends hm to the mat. Claret is emanating from Kutateladze's nose and this looks a forlorn task for him.
KUTATELADZE-FERNANDES: ROUND 1
Fernandes very much in a boxing stance flicks his jabs and kicks for the only scoring shots early on and after showing his right hand he delivers two big shots as Kutateladze gets into range. A big kick from Fernandes puts his opponent to the floor briefly. The cald of the Swedish fighters is also noticeably reddened and he is forced to switch to southpaw to protect it at one point. In the closing moments, Kutateladze launched a haymaker from too far out and was caught with a right hand himself (like Dubois-Joshua, though not as big a connection) and he went to the mat again. Big round for Fernandes.
LIGHTWEIGHTS IN ACTION FIRST UP...
Guram Kutatelazdze and Kaue Fernandes will get the party started now.
