The hosts overcame a 17-13 half-time deficit in the Kieler Ostseehalle to maintain their 100% record.
Kim Andersson top-scored with nine for the hosts while fellow Swede Marcus Ahlm contributed seven.
"We did not imagine that it would be so close", said German national team star Dominik Klein. "However in the second-half we put everything right."
If GOG win their last group match away against Czech champions Banik Karvina and Kiel take the expected home win against Romanian champions HCM Constanta, the Danes will still qualify for the last 16
Bundesliga leaders VfL Gummersbach also made it five wins out of five with a 38-29 success over Icelandic outfit VfL Gummersbach, who remain without a point.
It was 19-14 to the Leverkusen side at half-time and they cemented their lead in the second period with Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson netting eight for Gummersbach against his compatriots and becoming the top scorer in the competition in the process.
