Eight goals from Markus Ahlm helped the Germans to what was the biggest ever away win by a German side in the Champions League.
German international Christian Zeitz who has just recently recovered from a hip injury was the player who bagged the 50th goal of the game.
The game was played under strange circumstances for both teams, with it beginning at the unusually early time of 10.30am.
"This has been a lot of fun", said Kiel's Swedish international Henrik Lundström after the game, "maybe we should play all our home matches at 10.30 in the morning."
In the other game in that group Svendborg defeated Constanta 33-17 for a priceless win, which now puts the Danes level with the Romanians on four points in the race for second place in the group
Meanwhile, in Group A, another 100 % record was maintained in Pamplona, where 2001 champions Portland San Antonio clinched their place in the next round with a comfortable 34-26 victory over RK "Bosna" Sarajevo.
