The 2026 LIV Golf season will be shown live on TNT Sports and HBO Max in the UK, and we bring you all the details about how to watch, the schedule, round dates and who is playing. Jon Rahm won the Individual Championship in 2025, and will once again be skippering Legion XIII as they look to defend their Team Championship crown. Bryson DeChambeau, of Crushers GC, will provide stiff competition.

The 2026 LIV Golf season is well underway, with plenty of drama already.

This year's competition will see 14 events take place across 10 countries and five continents, including the league’s first event in South Africa (March 19-22), as well as stops in Adelaide, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, USA, UK, and more.

Featuring many of the world’s leading male golfers competing in a unique team and individual format, TNT Sports and its streaming platform HBO Max will broadcast all 14 global events.

The season began in Riyadh, with Elvis Smylie winning the individual title. The team prize went to Smylie and his Ripper GC team-mates.

Anthony Kim then produced one of the most heartwarming stories in recent years as he won the title in Adelaide, Australia, with Ripper GC succeeding in the team event again.

In Mexico City, Spain star Jon Rahm claimed victory after Bryson DeChambeau was forced to withdraw due to a wrist injury.

When did the season start?

The first LIV Golf event of the season took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between February 4-7.

All four days were played at night under lights.

Who is playing? What are the teams?

LIV Golf sees 13 teams compete, with up to four players in each team. Some of the biggest names competing this season are Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau and Tyrrell Hatton.

In 2026, there will also be five Wild Card players competing independently across events.

How to watch the LIV Golf 2026 season

TNT Sports and its streaming platform HBO Max will broadcast all 14 global events from the 2026 LIV Golf season.

What changes have been made for 2026?

Shift from 54-hole to 72-hole events: Starting in 2026, all regular LIV Golf tournaments will be played over 72 holes (four rounds) instead of the 54-hole (three rounds) format used previously, meaning events are generally four days long, usually Thursday to Sunday — a shift from the Friday-to-Sunday pattern.
Field size increases and new Wild Card spots: The regular season field will expand from 54 players to 57 players in 2026. This includes five Wild Card players competing independently across events. These Wild Card spots are awarded through the LIV Golf Promotions event early in the year.
