Sebastien Buemi claimed his third Monaco victory after a six-year win drought, as well as Envision Racing’s first win since 2023 in a spectacular climb from eighth to first.
Buemi snatched the victory from the pole-sitter Oliver Rowland, who settled for second place after finishing four seconds behind the record-breaker.
Rowland extended his lead to 115 points at the top of the drivers’ standings after finishing on the podium in both Monaco races this weekend.
Nick Cassidy salvaged a pleasing finish for Jaguar in third place, earning his first podium appearance this season despite his hopes of fighting for the title.
Rowland now leads the Porsche duo of Antonio Felix da Costa and Pascal Wehrlein in the drivers' standings, who finished in fourth and seventh place respectively.

CASSIDY: 'ON THE INSIDE I'M JUMPING UP AND DOWN'
Nick Cassidy salvaged a beautiful result for Jaguar after an odd weekend for the team that usually dominates in Monaco, with a third-place finish. It marks his first podium appearance this season in seven rounds, after a glorious title fight last season.
Cassidy said: "I can't fault my guys. It's been an extremely tough start to the year.
"It's not a secret, I've not been the happiest guy at times. This one feels like a big monkey off the shoulders and really proud of all their efforts.
"I mean, dude, on the inside, I'm jumping up and down. I'm very, very happy. It doesn't get more special than here, right?
"And obviously, the last couple of years have been nice to us, and it's super special to carry that on."

ROWLAND: 'FIRST AND SECOND HERE DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER'
The championship leader settled for a second-place finish at the Monaco ePrix today after a chaotic race saw the veteran driver Sebastien Buemi usurp his glory. Rowland, however, extended his lead at the top of the drivers' standings to 115 points, while his nearest title rivals fell further and further behind.
Rowland said: "I think, honestly, he [Jean Eric Vergne] obviously took his attack mode.
"He knew I had more to do. I think he was trying to back me into the pack. So when I took it, I lost quite a lot, but it was just one of those things.
"I knew the move was kind of on, but not, and he forced me off.
"And these things are like 50/50, so I think we took the safe approach, gave the position back, which cost me some time, obviously getting stuck behind everybody.
"But listen, first and second here, it doesn't get much better. So I'm really, really pleased.
"We just need to keep pushing. Obviously, we have got Tokyo next, where we were really strong last year.
"So hopefully we can have a real big push for that double header, and then, yeah, keep pushing in the right direction."

BUEMI: 'I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER WIN AGAIN'
A teary Sebastien Buemi claimed his third Monaco victory after a six-year drought in Formula E, breaking the record for most wins in the series' history with 14. His spectacular performance saw him climb seven places to claim an impressive victory, as well as Envision Racing's first win since 2023.
Buemi said: "I thought I would never win again, you know, at some point.
"So, you know, you need a bit of luck, you need the right timing, you need the right car, the good team.
"Today, everything just kept together, so I'm so happy.
"I'm actually speechless, because, you know it's been a long time.
"It was obviously quite tricky at the beginning with the fighting with Antonio and Max, but in the end, I think the timing of the attack mode was good.
"I was able to make a gap, and I was safe when Oli took his second one.
"So, you know, I was able to read well where the truck was drying up, especially in turn three and four.
"There was lots of lap time to begin with, but you needed the confidence and today I had that.
"I thought that number [14 wins] would never change, but it did today, so I'm very proud."

GLORY FOR BUEMI WHILE ROWLAND SETTLES FOR SECOND
Sebastien Buemi can officially title himself as Formula E's "King of Monaco" after his glorious victory marks his third win at the iconic circuit. Buemi climbed seven places throughout the race to claim the win, adding to his record of most wins in Formula E.
Oliver Rowland, however, settles for second place but still extends his lead at the top of the drivers' standings. Nick Cassidy finishes in third place, his first podium this season for Jaguar.

BUEMI CLAIMS RECORD-BREAKING THIRD MONACO VICTORY!
Envision Racing driver Sebastien Buemi claimed a shocking victory after gaining seven places to pick up his record-breaking win in Monaco. Buemi became the first driver in Formula E history to claim three victories at motorsports' crown jewel of Monaco. It marks his first win in the electric racing series since 2019 after years of struggles.

BUEMI CLOSE TO CLAIMING THIRD MONACO VICTORY
ATTACK MODE has run out for the top ten drivers while Sebastien Buemi still holds onto the lead of the Monaco ePrix on Lap 25. His wealth of experience is incredibly telling as the Envision Racing driver has kept his three-second lead pretty consistent.
Although he has less energy than the drivers behind, he is effective at increasing the gap to the championship leader Oliver Rowland. Rowland is subject to much more significant issues, with the looming threat of Nick Cassidy with 25% energy left for the final five laps of the race. A three-way battle for the podium positions is looking as strong as ever as Antonio Felix da Costa creeps into the fight.
One lap has been added to the race due to the full-course yellow and safety car chaos earlier in the race. On Lap 27, Buemi leads Rowland by 4.2s with just 16% energy left. Meanwhile, Cassidy possesses 21% left as he battles with da Costa for third place.
The Porsche clipped the back of Cassidy on the lead up to the swimming pool, but Cassidy defended hard and kept his car on track. Da Costa ran incredibly wide through the second part of Portier but recovered his Porsche heading into the tunnel.

BUEMI IN THE LEAD AFTER CHAOS UNFOLDED BETWEEN FRONTRUNNERS
Nyck de Vries held onto his lead on Lap 20, but Sebastien Buemi decided to deploy his ATTACK MODE and overtake the Mahindra on Lap 22. The fight for the victory has picked up once again as Oliver Rowland opted to use his final four minutes of ATTACK MODE. Rowland cleverly gave Jean Eric Vergne a place back for the incident a lap earlier at the chicane to avoid a penalty.
Nine drivers have deployed ATTACK MODE on Lap 22 but a yellow flag has been called on Lap 23. Meanwhile, Buemi has pulled three seconds ahead of the rest of the pack while de Vries attempts to close down the gap.
Behind, Vergne and Rowland battle through the tunnel as they both fight to secure another victory in Monaco. Both de Vries and Vergne have run out of ATTACK MODE while Rowland still possessed one minute left on Lap 24.
Rowland managed to pull off a glorious overtake on both Vergne and de Vries, climbing up into second place once again. In the chaos, Nick Cassidy and Antonio Felix da Costa jumped Vergne on the lead up to Mirabeau. Cassidy has stormed through the track with 34% energy left and set his sights on Rowland in second place.

DE VRIES GAINS LEAD OF MONACO EPRIX
Oliver Rowland started to apply pressure on Jean Eric Vergne in the lead of the Monaco ePrix on Lap 17, but his advances were beginning to be affected by Nyck de Vries' attacks from behind. Although Vergne got a slow exit out of the first corner, de Vries's attack on Rowland was more than enough to keep the Nissan from regaining the lead.
Rowland finally deployed his ATTACK MODE on Lap 18, losing one place before he attempted to attack Nyck de Vries coming out of the tunnel. Rowland failed to pull off the move as he lunged straight at de Vries and ran wide into the curb, staying in third place. The Nissan snatched second place back on the straight and tailed Vergne into Casino Square. Rowland was eager as ever as he looked to take Vergne heading into Mirabeau, a notoriously tricky corner.
Meanwhile, de Vries was overtaken on the inside heading into Mirabeau and lost third place to the double Monaco winner. The two drivers at the front of the pack went into the corner and squabbled into the starting straight. Their messy situation left space for de Vries to gain two places in one, before Rowland retook the position.
De Vries has cleverly deployed his ATTACK MODE on Lap 20 and possesses two full minutes ahead of de Vries. The young driver followed Rowland through the chicane and gains the lead before the straight.

VERGNE NAILS RESTART AFTER SAFETY CAR CHAOS
The second instalment of the ATTACK MODE saga is directed by the reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein, and Nico Mueller. Wehrlein found himself in a tricky spot when chaos unfolded behind him when Mueller slowed on track near the apex of Casino Square. Luckily for Wehrlein, he had finished his ATTACK MODE, whereas Robin Frijns just deployed four minutes of ATTACK MODE when the yellow flags were waved.
There is debris on track after the contact in the first corner, and a full safety car has been called. Marshalls rolled the Andretti out of the way in a super quick recovery job. It was back to racing conditions by Lap 15, and the field was bunched up. Jean Eric Vergne is the pace-setter as they speed through the starting straight.
Oliver Rowland could not snatch back the lead from Vergne on the restart but he tailed so closely behind the Penske driver. Rowland fell under severe pressure from Nyck de Vries looking for a way around the Nissan but Rowland managed to hold off the young driver. At the halfway point of the race, Rowland has still yet to use his ATTACK MODE.
Only Sam Bird is using ATTACK MODE on Lap 15, using two minutes while he sits in 19th place hoping to climb up the order. There are now just three drivers on track with two deployments of the feature left. Sebastien Buemi and Antonio Felix da Costa squeezed through the corners before heading into Mirabeau, briefly touching before Buemi climbed up to fourth place with an overtake on Maximilian Guenther.

VERGNE STILL LEADS BUT ROWLAND HAS TRICKS UP HIS SLEEVE
The full-course yellow was short-lived as the drivers went back to racing halfway through Lap 8. Jean Eric Vergne retained the lead after defending hard from Oliver Rowland's pursuits the moment the green flag was waved. Jake Hughes received a five-second penalty for the incident that caused the yellow flag, accidentally punting Lucas di Grassi into Portier a lap ago.
Vergne has pulled 3.186s ahead of Rowland on the green flag restart as he smoothly navigates the tricky track with years worth of experience racing in Monaco. Nyck de Vries occupies the third spot on the potential podium on Lap 9, but is beginning to close in on Rowland running in second.
A feisty battle has unfolded behind as Maximilian Guenther defends his fourth place position against an eager Sebastien Buemi looking to secure a third victory in Monaco. Buemi and Guenther touched while squeezing through a narrow sector of the track but chaos unfolded behind between Dan Ticktum and Nick Cassidy, stealing the spotlight from their battle.
Cassidy was searching for a way around Ticktum when they briefly touched heading into a corner, causing Ticktum to slide into the run-off. He miraculously recovered the car, spinning it round and returning to the track in 12th place.

VERGNE SNATCHES LEAD FROM ROWLAND IN ATTACK MODE
The fight at the front of the pack has been ongoing as Oliver Rowland still somehow held the lead heading into Lap 5 despite a majority of the grid deploying ATTACK MODE in an attempt to snatch the lead. He held off for as long as possible, but it was Jean Eric Vergne who pulled off the overtake in the second sector of the track.
Rowland still had two ATTACK MODE uses remaining while most drivers opted for early uses. Heading into Lap 6 he managed to hold onto second place while Maximilian Guenther was right behind with 20 seconds left. The championship leader defended hard and retained second place but Nyck de Vries was creeping behind the two with one minute left of his ATTACK MODE.
By Lap 7, just six drivers have a full set of ATTACK MODE ready to use during the rest of the race. Meanwhile, there are many dry patches forming across the track as Monaco begins to see sunshine once again. It is an incredibly tricky track as it is, but even harder to navigate the narrow circuit during wet conditions.
Lucas di Grassi is out of the Monaco ePrix after crashing into the wall at Portier on Lap 7. The race was neutralised shortly after.

ROWLAND LEADS AS ATTACK MODE DRIVERS CLIMB UP
Heading into the second lap, there is clearly far less spray than expected as the sun has appeared in Monaco for the first time in a few hours. The preferred strategy for the drying track is to use their ATTACK MODE as early as possible to climb up the order in the slippery conditions.
The order at the front of the pack has remained the same as everyone is playing it as safe as possible due to the tricky conditions. Only a handful of drivers have managed to gain places, including Nick Cassidy who has climbed up to 12th place.
Drivers lower in the pack may find it easier to use ATTACK MODE early before the track dries, drivers such as Cassidy, Pascal Wehrlein, and Jake Dennis. The first of the drivers to use ATTACK MODE are Sebastein Buemi who was running in seventh place on Lap 3. Dan Ticktum in eighth followed Buemi's move, but he ran wide coming out of Fairmont.
Dennis, Norman Nato and David Beckmann have also opted to use ATTACK MODE early in the race. Four drivers apart from Beckmann chose to use four minutes, while Beckmann (down in 17th place) has opted for six minutes early. Jean Eric Vergne, Jake Hughes, Antonio Felix da Costa, Stoffel Vandoorne, Maximilian and Robin Frijns have also followed with ATTACK MODE on Lap 4.

ROWLAND RETAINS LEAD IN SAFE OPENING LAP
The polesitter Oliver Rowland got off to a great start while Nyck de Vries followed closely behind. Everyone made it safely out of the first corner as the track is still wet on the surface. The drivers are desperately searching for grip on the track as they cautiously circle around Mirabeau.

FIVE MINUTES TO GO....
The grid is all set for the start of the Monaco ePrix, but in wildly different conditions from yesterday's race. Although it is warm, it has been raining all morning, and it has only just calmed down. The race will have a standing start but the track is still wet.

DOES ATTACK MODE AND PIT BOOST CHANGE THE GAME?
Only some races this season include the all-new Pit Boost feature in races, and Monaco is one of them. From what we have seen so far of this new feature, Pit Boost has changed the storyline in both Jeddah and yesterday’s Monaco races.
Drivers can pair the Pit Boost with their use of Attack Mode, giving them sure ways to climb up the grid and jump up to the frontrunners. Although it is yet another thing to worry about, it is the main reason Maximilian Gunther and Oliver Rowland were able to fight for wins in Jeddah and Monaco.
Pit Boost is a completely separate entity from Attack Mode, which is deployed twice in a race to increase power in short bursts. With the reintroduction of mandatory pit stops, Formula E has an entirely new field to play with.
The first deployment of Pit Boost was seen in Jeddah after two long years of development. This new feature is said to revolutionise the mandatory pit stops during the race, gifting drivers a 10% energy boost (3.85kWh). This 34-second stop may require a driver to sacrifice their position, but it will greatly impact their performance in the end after reaping the benefits.
Drivers have eight minutes of Attack Mode throughout races that can be used in two stints. They can use combinations of four and four, two and six, or six and two. What seems to be incredibly effective is the Pit Boost right before Attack Mode, so keep an eye out for how the drivers split their time.

WHERE HAVE PORSCHE BEEN?
Porsche’s Monaco jinx is set to continue after a disastrous result for Antonio Felix da Costa continued their unlucky spirits at the crown jewel of motorsport. Da Costa was enjoying a great race until he crashed into the wall just before the finish line on Lap 8, bringing out a full-course yellow.
It was an unlucky day for Porsche, with Pascal Wehrlein failing to secure a podium finish. Although he finished in fifth place, the team were hoping to earn their first victory in Monaco. They have come close to picking up the glorious victory, but bad luck has plagued the team with mechanical issues, and strategic difficulties have come in the way.
The reigning champion came close to securing the victory in 2022, but a failed inverter destroyed his lead, and luck in Monaco. Despite the German motorsport giants being one of the quickest and most dominant teams on the grid, they never seem to get Monaco just right.
Qualifying in sixth and tenth today bears no sign of a great race ahead, but hopefully the duo can climb back up to the top.

GREAT HOPES FOR ANDRETTI
Yesterday was a great day for Andretti as the duo of Jake Dennis and Nico Mueller managed to score third and fourth place finishes respectively. Round 6 saw the team earn its best finish in Monaco in years as the two fought hard to climb up the ranks.
The team performed far better than expected by employing a very harmonious strategy to ensure both drivers scored great points. Both Dennis and Mueller timed their Attack Mode well to use the last four minutes towards the end of the race, which helped them shoot up to the top five.
Mueller was the real star of the show as he protected Dennis from a five-second penalty affecting his podium finish. Mueller backed up the pack to ensure the duo remained in third and fourth.
Andretti’s performance in Monaco has been extraordinary this weekend and the team are aiming to jump even higher if possible. After securing his third-place finish, Dennis said: "I honestly felt like we did most things perfectly.
"But the car has been quick all day today, and the boys really gave me a rocket ship, and to be able to fight back through and get my first podium of the season.
"It's been so long since Misano in season 10, and yes, repay them [Andretti] with a Monaco podium."

ROWLAND’S MONACO GLORY
It was a wonderful Saturday in Monaco for Oliver Rowland, who secured his very first win at the Circuit de Monaco. The Nissan driver employed a very clever strategy with a combination of perfectly-timed deployments of his Attack Mode and the effective use of his Pit Boost towards the end of the race.
Rowland put in some risky moves yesterday during the Round 6 race, leaving his final four minutes of Attack Mode until the last four laps. The clever strategy paid off as he was able to storm past the Andretti duo and Nyck de Vries to claim the lead.
He has clearly been the man to beat this season, with two other victories in Mexico and Jeddah. It’s not just Rowland, though; Nissan has had a fantastic start to the season. Norman Nato kicked off Round 5 with an impressive maiden pole position in Miami.
